Show Notes Transcript

In this mock draft, the action starts early with a significant trade involving the Raiders and the Giants. The Raiders acquire Picks 6 and 47, while the Giants receive Picks 13, 44, and next year's first-round pick.

With the 13th pick, the Giants select Rome Odunze, a wide receiver from Washington, bolstering their receiving corps with his size and playmaking ability.

At Pick 44, the Giants address their quarterback situation by selecting Michael Penix Jr. from Washington, adding depth and competition to the position.

The draft continues with Pick 70, but the Giants make another move, this time with the Cardinals. The Cardinals acquire Picks 170 and 183, while the Giants receive Picks 71 and 138.

With the 71st pick, the Giants address their pass rush by selecting Bralen Trice, an edge rusher from Washington, adding pressure off the edge to their defense.

At Pick 107, the Giants add depth to their backfield by selecting Braelon Allen, a running back from Wisconsin, known for his power and ability to break tackles.

With Pick 138, the Giants address the tight end position by selecting Jared Wiley from TCU, adding a versatile weapon to their offense.

Finally, at Pick 166, the Giants bolster their defensive line by selecting Gabe Hall, a defensive tackle from Baylor, adding depth and versatility to their defensive front.

Overall, the Giants make strategic moves to address key areas of need while also acquiring valuable future assets through trades, setting themselves up for success both in the present and the future.

Two Giant Goofballs, a New York Giants podcast. Are you a goofball that loves Giants football? If so, sit back and relax as we talk about the team that both excites and frustrates us so much. And now, here are your Goofball hosts, Drew and Rob. Welcome, fellow goofballs, to Two Giant Goofballs, a New York Giants podcast. I am Drew, joined as always by... I'm me, Al Rob, with Mrs. Peaches. Yes, we all have Mrs. Peaches shirts. You know, what's weird is, is it Miss Peaches? Is it Mrs. Peaches? He changes the name halfway through. He really does. I feel like it's how much he wants to emphasize, Miss Peaches. Yes. I feel like, yeah, it's a little odd. It's like, is she married? Is she not married? Is she in trouble? I don't even know. Okay. Well, her handle on Instagram is Miss Peaches. Okay. And that's what the sweater here says that I'm wearing. So, yeah. But every so often, it's like, Mrs. Peaches. It's so weird to see a guy who's like... His statue. Yeah, no, it's like... He's a very abrupt, very blunt person. Let's put it that way. I don't want to say he's a jerk. I don't know him personally, but he's got that kind of northeast. I think he's from Boston. He's not named from New York. He's got that New York northeast kind of style of bluntness there. He's like, yeah, screw that guy over there. Ooh, these peaches. This pizza, it's pretty good. It's a good undercarriage. It's an 8.1. He was actually here in Tampa Bay. It was. And there was a place right down the road from my normal job there that still has a line all up and down the plaza since he went there because of how good, supposedly, their cheesesteaks are, of all things. It's the place that has, if you look at this... Yeah, I saw it. I think the pizza was like... 9.1 for the cheesesteak. Yeah. I think that the pizza was like a seven, six, seven, eight or something like that, which is good for him. Yeah. I mean, especially for Tampa Bay. Yeah. Yeah. They make their own bread and everything, but yeah, this place is still. And then he also had the margarita pie too, right down there. That was a margarita pie at a place called Nona's Slice, which is a little near my house, actually. So we plan on checking that place out soon. But listen, the guide is a good service because everybody loves good pizza. Oh, yeah, 100%. If he goes to your area, you'll learn about some places that you might not have known about. There's a really good spot in Linkroft that they got at, I think, 8-7 or something like that. Yeah. Leonardo's. Is it owned by the dreaded villain Leonardo Leonardo from the Clerks animated series? Oh yes, the Clerks animated series. Leonardo, Leonardo, Leonardo. Alrighty guys, well today we are here to give you guys a mock draft special because everybody loves mock drafts. They really do. It's crazy how often I see people arguing over mock drafts. That person would never be available. Or, oh my god, why would you pick that? Or, It's too early. How would he go there? We did one right at the end of the season. Everybody's flipping out that we didn't draft offensive linemen. Like, who's going to be our offensive line? I said in the section I posted that we were going to draft or we were going to sign people instead of draft people this year. And guess what happened, guys? We signed people instead of drafting them. Crazy. It's almost like I knew what was going to happen. Almost, almost. Are you in with the Mara family? And I don't know about it. I'm the plumber. Who was that last year that was the carpenter or the plumber or something that was giving away secrets on Twitter? I think it was probably the carpenter because I would have made the joke that I'm about to make now that you're going to lay some pipe. Okay, I forget. I'm no plumber, but I lay some pipe. Oh, all right. Connor, where are you? So let's get into this here bit by bit here. So obviously, you know, it goes without saying that we're going to start off, call me crazy, with the first overall pick at that point there that we have. And that's pick six. Just, you know, just a crazy, crazy suggestion that I was going to make at that point there. So, keep in mind, in this draft, overall, we got six picks. We still have a lot of holes to fill, guys. This is not the, you know, oh, what do we do with this? This is like, we got to figure some stuff out here, guys. So... Yeah, we're going to do that here. Here's our drafts for us right now. We got pick number six. We got pick number 47, pick number 70, pick number 107, pick number 66, and pick number 183. So we're going to go ahead, though, and make a trade. Oh, yes. It is time to make a trade. So we're going to trade our very first pick there, pick number six. We're going to trade that away. We're going to trade to the Raiders. And the Raiders. The Raiders want to step up and get, and I'll tell you point blank what they want to do. They want to get a quarterback. And they want to take J.J. McCarthy. And this is going to kill some Giant fans, probably. I don't like J.J. McCarthy. I'm sorry. I'm still in that boat. I don't think he's a horrible player. Don't get me wrong. I just think he has a ceiling that I don't like. It's not high enough for my taste to draft him at pick six. I was about to say at six. Yeah, like if I can get him later on, what the hell? But they're willing to give me some picks for him. I would just personally prefer to have. So we're going to go that route there. So with pick six, now we go to pick 13. Now by doing that... We also move up in the second round from 47 to 44. That's a big difference there, but a couple picks we got better. The big thing, though, is we get next year's first round pick from the Raiders. So we're picking up a second first round pick. And that's pretty big, guys. I know that people are all about what's going to happen at the quarterback position. What are we going to do in this case here? We'll take care of that in a minute here. We got something going on there. But the big thing for me is that I want to have the ammo to step up next year if I want to because I'm not going to get one of the big three quarterbacks. As much as I'd love to do that, as far as I'm concerned, the Bears, the Commanders, and the Patriots are not budging. They're going QB, QB, QB. So if I want to get it to one of the top QBs at that point, I'm going to have to trade up one of those guys. And it takes two to tango. And they don't want to dance. So in the end, we're going to go ahead and just say, okay, they don't want to dance. Fine. We're going to set ourselves up for next year with an extra first round pick. And if we need a quarterback next draft, we have the ammo to go out and get it now. Don't want to have to wait that long, but I'd rather wait. then get the right the wrong move yeah so we're down now to pick 13 and we pick 13 up up the pick is in the pick is in Oh, yes. If you don't know who that man dancing around was, that is wide receiver Roma Dunze out of Washington, who I can't believe happened to slip to number 13. And this is one of those picks that people say, oh, I can't believe he would never be there. I don't know what's going to happen, guys. And after J.J. McCarthy was taken, Brock Bowers was taken, a couple offensive linemen was taken, and he just happened to still be there at pick 13. So who knows what's going to happen on draft day? But there he was. I took him. Could have moved down a second time at that point, but I'm like, you know, this is the perfect thing. I got some extra ammo for next year if need be. I get a couple picks down on my second round there, and I got a top wide receiver anyway. Yep. That's what I say. You got the dude in the wide receiver room that we've been talking about. Are we getting a number one receiver? Yeah. Who's going to be a number one receiver? Last year, our number one receiver was supposed to be a Titan. They didn't see the field for half the year. But that's besides the case. Yeah, but this is one of those scenarios that if it works out that way, that's a really damn good outcome at that point because we get a player we would have probably taken at six anyway, potentially. And we get the in the end, we get them five picks later and we had that first extra first round pick next year. So. You know, Roma Dunzay is one of those guys that I think is, like I said, one of the top three. I think those three top guys there with him, Malik Neighbors, and Marvin Harrison Jr., you got three receivers that I think all will excel this year. You know, I'm much more up on these guys than I was in the wide receiver class last year. You know, I remember how we talked about them last year. We said that Zee Flowers would be legit. We were actually very impressed with him. I think that proved to be the case. We said we thought Jordan Addison was solid. I think he actually excelled better than what you and I thought he would do, actually. But we thought he'd be a solid player, and we thought that Jackson Smith Najigba is actually the best wide receiver in that draft, which we'll see what happens with that. He was kind of cock-blocked a little bit by being wide receiver three in that. I mean, I was a Zay Flowers guy. He was my favorite come out. Was it Zay Flowers you liked most? I thought both of us had Jackson Smith Najigba. I was a Zay guy. But we didn't like Quinton Johnston. We didn't like him at all. Boomer bust. Yeah, we did not like him at all. But this is a year where I feel like there's a lot more receivers, but we're very high on all three of the big three. I'm okay with any of the big three, personally. Yep. And Rome is different from Zay, because Zay was a small guy. You're talking about 6'3", 215 pounds in that ballpark. Yeah, this is the kind of player that we've been trying to get for years. We've never had basically a big, big target. This is a guy who should be very effective in the end zone. You know, had 1,600 yards and 13 touchdowns last year at Washington. It's a solid, solid good player at that point that we'd be getting. And like I said, we got a player I would have been fine taking at number six. while moving back, getting the extra ammo, getting the extra pick for next year if need be. And listen, if it works out, quarterback this year somehow with another option, we still have an extra second round pick. That's not a horrible thing to have, especially in a team like the Raiders. Let's be honest, doesn't exactly have recent history of being very, very good. No disrespect to the Raiders there, but this is not a team that's like, oh, we had a bad year. We're usually much better than this. No, this is usually where the Raiders are. Their second half of last year is kind of like what their average was for the past five, ten years. This is a team that you expect at that point to have between six and eight wins every year. They're never the worst team in the league, pretty much, but they're never really above average. Or barely even average. Yeah. So, you know, I think that works out all around for us here. All right. Now we go to pick 44. Pick 44. And this one is not going to shock many people with me. Yeah. We've been pretty consistent with this move here. But we're doing it again. We're doing it again. Oh, yeah. There he is. We get Roma Dunzay. Now we get his quarterback. Michael Penix Jr., and I think we just gave something away here. I hit the wrong button apparently. Hold on. I don't know what happened there. Oh, no. Give it up way too much now. This is what happens when you have too many buttons to hit at that point. Let's leave those screens alone. Yeah, Michael Penix Jr., we've been very consistent on taking that guy pretty much. I think every single mock draft we've taken him. Pretty much. Yeah, I really think every single mock draft we've done, I think we've taken him now. Sometimes late first, sometimes in the second. But this is a guy that I still stand by. I think as long as the medicals check out. Again, I don't have access to that. Rob doesn't have access to that. But this is a guy who, you know, you can look at his tape and go, this is a first-round quarterback. I'm sorry. I look at that tape, and that's still what I see is a first-round quarterback. and I'm not saying he's a sure thing. I'm not saying he's a future MVP. I'm not going crazy on Penix, but I think Penix is a better quarterback than J.J. McCarthy. I really do. J.J. McCarthy, for some reason, they were afraid to feature him in Michigan, and I say it that way. There's a difference. Penix has such a high ceiling to him, a higher ceiling. I think we saw pretty much where J.J. is going to be and he's a game manager yeah he's going to be the new version of alex smith yeah and I'm sorry but if you are um jim harbaugh excuse me there's a little sneeze I have you're jim harbaugh Why would you hold back if you had this great quarterback that can throw the ball and swing the rock over the field? I'm sorry. I don't care how good your running game is. I don't care how big a hogs you have up front at that point there because he had some good offensive linemen to go along with a really good running back. If this guy was that good, you would feature him. I'm not saying you'd feature him like where you throw the ball 50 times a game. But if you watch those games... If you watched those games, he never put the ball in his hands. He never put the game in his hands and said, here, you go win this for us. That's an issue. Correct. I mean, look at San Francisco when he was out there. Alex Smith. He was a great game manager out there. He did throw the ball and he did get around, but he wasn't flashy. He just did what he had to do. And that's kind of like how JJ played through college. Yeah. Some games, like, he'll get you those three-plus-hundred yards. Sometimes he'll get you, like, 120. Yeah. It's just, like I said, to me, I just can't trust a quarterback. whose coach didn't even trust him in the games in college. That, to me, is just absolutely pure insanity. How's he supposed to excel in the NFL if he can't excel in college? Yeah. Let's say he won a national title. And I get that, but he won a national title, but Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. I'm not trying to say he's Trent Dilfer either. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say this guy has no possibility of being anything decent at that point there. But he literally had a game where he got 60 yards and the team still won. 60 yards. That was against Penn State, by the way. He had, let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six games out of the 15 under 200 yards. I mean, didn't the Raiders just do that? Yeah, that's not good when you're doing the Raiders thing. And if you look at the season, he didn't get better as the season went. They counted on him less. Less. That's not good here. Of the 15 games, okay, I'm going to go over the last six games that J.J. McCarthy had. And it's just his yardage. and this is to show you how much he was not counted on in this offense 60 yards 141 yards 148 yards 147 yards 221 yards 140. that sounds like a team we know that did something like that like two seasons ago that sounds like daniel jones I'm sorry, but that's... That's what I was going to say. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I'm going to say it point blank straight up at that point. That to me does not scream I'm ready to excel at the next level. And again, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Harbaugh is an idiot. Maybe Harbaugh doesn't know what he has in that. But, you know, again, we all know what Rob thinks about Harbaugh. He said he's one of the greatest coaches of his generation here. Oh, geez. But like I said, if there's one thing about Harbaugh, the man knows offenses. He knows quarterbacks. He was a quarterback in the NFL. That's what he does. Now, let's go through the same exact yardage-wise for Michael Penix. Now, his first game in this, I'm going to do the same 11 through 15 at that point. Actually, we did 10 through 15, didn't we? So let's do the 10 through 15 that we did for Michael Penix now. Again, this is just yardage at that point. I'm not even going to touchdown differential and all that kind of stuff. 332 yards, 162. So we had the one bad. 204, 319, 430, 255. That's a big difference, guys. 100%. I'm letting you lead my offense. I'm trusting you to do the right thing. That's what that is. Here's the ball. Go win the game. Exactly. And I just don't know. And, you know, I don't even know where Penix is going to go as part of the thing, too. I mean, I could see him going, as I see Deb talk about it as well. I was about to say. I see him going in the first round in some drafts. And we've talked about it before. I've heard some scouts say that some people take him off their board entirely, wouldn't even take him because of all the injury issues. To me, though, if I get the chance to get a quarterback in the second round, that has this kind of abilities. And my biggest thing that stops me from taking him early is the injuries. But his medicals check out. I'm all for it. We've done it before where the Giants have gone to the back of the first round and taken him. I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm not so sure he's going to go in the first half of the first round. I think best case scenario, late first round pick. Worst case scenario, he's a mid-second round pick. That's where I'm at. And this is that worst case scenario for him. He just happened to be there at this point. But if you're telling me that I can go ahead and get a guy like that to lead my offense, give him a year to see what he can do, and if he can't do it, I have two first round picks the next year, I'm set up because I can go ahead and put him for three more years as my backup worst-case scenario, go draft another guy. I got two first-round picks in 25, plus I can still have my one in 26. I can trade if I need to. I can do three picks, move up to the top spots at that point. This is a weird draft because you look at what's going on. In this draft, and you have three teams up front, but only the quarterback, and there's three top-tier quarterbacks, according to this draft. You don't see that very often. Usually when there's a bunch of quarterbacks, there's one or two teams that already has a quarterback, just had an off year, or they're still in the process of developing a quarterback. That kind of scenario. Kind of like what Chicago was last year. We're not ready to give up on fields yet. We're going to trade away our first overall pick. That kind of scenario. And it's just weird that there's no option really this year to do that. So I think next year, history tells you that option will probably be there. That's the typical thing at that point there. I'll take a guy like Michael Penix, who's gone through a lot in his career, gone through a lot of adversity at that point, and is a guy that I think has come in like an adult in the room. I've led offenses before. I've gone through a lot of stuff in my career already. I'm ready to go. He's got a cannon of an arm. And... Everybody kept on... We talked about it earlier. Oh, we can't draft him. We have a horrible right tackle. Guess what, guys? We have a good right tackle now. We have Jermaine Illuminor. Almost like someone perhaps said we'd get him. I wonder who said that, Rob. Was there two people who might have said that, perhaps? Some goofballs that have been calling for that ever since we hired Carmine Brasillo and said that from the very get-go that we would get him. yes yeah we did say it's like it's almost like they're they know they have an issue there and they want to put a really good guy in that in that spot to uh I don't know maybe protect and it's almost like quarterback yeah it's almost like they saw the writing on the wall because they knew carmen brucillo and jermaine illuminor have been working together twice before once in new england now in las vegas so obviously they have a good relationship it's it's crazy it's just well Now in New York. Those goofballs must be geniuses. Anyway. Drake crazy. Anyway, yeah. Now we got a top fight receiver. Now we got a quarterback that we can give a shot to at that point there and keep him on a short leash. And if he's not any good at that point and we're wrong, we got next year at that point, we got an extra first round pick and we can go for someone else if we think there's a better option in the next draft. We have that option. We could pull a Cardinals and go right from Rosen to Kyler Murray. Well, hopefully not Kyler Murray, but yeah. But you know what I'm saying, though. We have that exact scenario that we can do. And listen, if we're not in a good spot when it comes to the first-round pick, a lot of people are like, we could start trading. We have the power. If our first two picks are towards the end, we could take that. and push it right towards getting, like, right top five pick. Yeah. Like you said, we have a lot of options there all of a sudden with that kind of movement there. So let's see here. So next pick, number 70. We're trading again, guys. We're trading again. The Cardinals are on the horn, and they want that pick 70. Yes, but they got pick 71. So that's, you know, we're not really changing too much here, to be honest with you. We're going down one pick in the third round. That's it. They're going to give us pick 138, and we're going to swap them by giving them 183. So we're going up, you know, almost, what, 45 spots there at that point. So it's a round and a half increase at that point there. We just dropped that one pick. I'm going to take that all day long. Are you kidding me? You offered me that kind of deal. I'm taking that all day long. And I'm going to continue with what we've been trying to do this whole offseason there. If you notice what Joe Shane is doing, he's trying to build the trenches. He's trying to build up that defensive and offensive trench at that point. We've done a lot of work on the offensive line, obviously, this offseason here in free agency. A lot of work. We've signed, what, four or five different offensive linemen there, including two potential starters there. I think we've had maybe more. Maybe it's like five or six. I was about to say it might be up to six. Yeah. We only signed one guy for the defensive line there. And that's, you know, obviously one of the biggest, if not actually the biggest move we've made, Brian Burns there, adding him to the pass rush. Well, the edge room is a little light, guys. You got, you know, Kayvon Thibodeau and Brian Burns obviously starting. You got Aziz Ojolari when he's healthy as a backup. Besides that, what do we really have? We don't really have much, guys. And again, Aziz Ojolari, I like Aziz a lot, actually. I think he's got a lot of talent. He just has trouble staying healthy. But again, do you want to count on him? You want to have him as your only backup that you trust to actually put in the game? No, you can't do that. So we're adding another edge rusher here. It's that time. The pick is in. Oh, yeah. Braylon Trice, edge rusher out of Washington. It's like a Washington theme here, like Washington East now. It says three picks in a row from Washington. We're just going to keep on doing that, okay? Next thing you know, what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and draft a water boy from Washington. Water sucks. It really, really sucks. So, Braylon Trice, again, out of Washington. They're 6'4". We haven't talked about him, so I'll go over some of the details of him. 6'4", 274 pounds. He's 23 years old. Last year, he had 15 games, 49 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, 53 hurries, guys. You heard that right. 53 hurries. You think that's going to help potentially a guy like Dexter Lawrence or a guy like Brian Burns or Kayvon with 53 hurries? Oh, yeah. Two passes defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery. Prior year in 22, 38 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, nine sacks, 46 hurries. So, yeah, this guy is a guy who, for whatever reason, he gets to the quarterback like crazy. He may not quite finish the deal, but that's a shnikey load of hurries, guys. Yeah. And what happens with quarterbacks, Terry? They make mistakes. Yeah, and it's not just that. I'd love to see, with a little bit of coaching, what you can do to change some of those into sacks. This is a good guy with a high active motor there. He's got good hands. He's got a good punch. He's got a high variety of pass rush moves, too, for a college player. That's one of the things you always hear on pass rushers coming out of college. Oh, he's got this one move. He counts this one move. He's going to have to earn a spin or rip or something like that, add it into the mix and blah, blah, blah. Get a repertoire going. This guy has his repertoire going already, okay? He's good to go as far as that stuff. What he's got is he's got trouble getting off the block sometimes, especially in the run game, and he's not the best tackler. He's definitely known as a missed tackler. So that tells me all day long, Put this guy as a situational pass rusher. Let him sit for a year at that point. Hopefully behind Ojalary. Learn a little better at that point there. And imagine you put all four of those guys out there and like full-on blitz the quarterback with Dexter Lawrence smack dab in the middle. Woo! I see a lot of dookie pants. Yeah, that's not going to go well for a quarterback. So, yeah, Braylon Trice, like I said, I'm pretty confident in that being a pretty good pick there at that point. Again, within a realm of reason because it's a third-round pick. He's not going to be a 15-20 sack guy. I'm not suggesting anything crazy like that. But if this is a guy who has a backup and gets you five or six sacks at that point and be a good guy to come off the bench, that's a good pick in the third round. And then you hope he can develop into something more later on. And he's definitely got that ability, I think. So we're going to have to keep an eye on him. We're going to need a third edge rusher next year. So this is a guy you can develop into a third edge rusher and then go draft another one next year to be your next fourth. Keep it nice and low. Keep it cheap. Keep it cheap. So... Alrighty. We got three more picks left, guys. So let's pay the bills. Let's go through some comments. Mostly about peaches. We'll go ahead and go into the second half of the first round. Second half of the mock draft, I should say. Enjoying the show? Looking for more goofball action? Deb says, I hope Penix is there in the round two. Some MAAC drafts have Denver taking Penix in the first. Denver is the oddball in this whole draft, too, because I keep on wondering, what's Denver going to do? They don't have a quarterback. They're like us. They don't have a quarterback. But they have even less of a chance of moving up for a quarterback. Even J.J. McCarthy is not going to be there for the most. They can move up. Whereas he might be available for us. Again, I don't want him. I'm just saying. So, yeah, I don't know. Denver is one of those teams that I've heard a lot of Bo Nix rumors with them, though, and I don't know how much that's true and how much it's not. You know, Sean Payton is one of those guys that, to be honest, most of his career has had Drew Brees. and Drew Brees was a free agent. They signed because he was the best quarterback available, but one of the two because they had Dante Culpepper available as well at that offseason. He went to the Dolphins. But yeah, it's not like he didn't draft a quarterback. They got one free agency for him, and then he had that guy for 15 years. So, you know, we don't really know anything as far as Sean Payton and drafting quarterbacks. So we don't know what he covets and what he actually would like to have in a quarterback. He happened to luck into a really, really good one. So, yeah. Say his record's not the best without him, but, you know. Touché. We'll see. It definitely wasn't all Drew down there. No, but I still think I still have a Sean Payton guy. And you know what? Honestly, the way he treated Russell Wilson, let's be honest, by all accounts, he's got a little bit of a schmuckish attitude to him, Russell Wilson. But that wasn't right. What he did to Russell Wilson was not right. And on top of that, you know, the whole... One Super Bowl. How many years getting this in the playoffs? Every single year, pretty much. One Super Bowl. I'm not even saying Super Bowl win. One Super Bowl appearance. You know? It's like if you take that one Super Bowl out, I think he would have been fired a long time ago. Dexia. I'm just saying, I think because that one Super Bowl, he's hanging his hat. And listen, it's been a long time. It's been a long time since that one Super Bowl. He's living off that one Super Bowl as long as Doc Rivers is living off his NBA championship with the Celtics back in the day. I'm just saying, that's what I feel like he used to do. Deb says, I was listening to Riz. Who's that guy? I don't even know who's that guy. Is that a New York guy? You know who this guy is, Rob? I have no idea. Sounds Italian. No, that can't be Italian at all. Fragile. Yeah. I don't know. Rick Serratella. Oh, there we go. Rick Serratella. I guess he's a scout according to, Oh, he's the, okay. So this is the guy who created the, uh, the, the NFL draft Bible. Okay. I know him. I just, the names got thrown together and I'm like throwing for a loop a second there. So yeah, he's a, he's an SI guy, but yeah. He says he's got Williams, then McCarthy, then Penix as his best quarterbacks in the draft. So I agree with him, except for take out McCarthy and swap in Jaden Daniels, and then Jaden Daniels and Williams get flip-flopped. I think that Penix is better than Drake May, and I think he's better than J.J. McCarthy personally. I think if he wasn't for the injuries, he'd be right there with those guys in this draft. And I get it. You could say that if it wasn't for pretty much so many players who aren't going to be picked in the first 10. That's life. Obviously, that's why they're not being picked that high. But like I said, I just think he's that good. I really do. So, yeah. Let's see. Then my wife comes back in with peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches. Connor says, who did we get in the draft? Is it April yet? Miss Peaches. Yeah, we got Miss Peaches. No, I mean, I think it's pretty obvious what we're going to do in the draft, personally. I still think it's going to be get a wide receiver in the first pick and then move up to get the quarterback we want with that second pick, whoever it is. And I don't know who they want. I don't know if they want to try to get back up and get J.J. McCarthy that early. I think, you know, you hear so much J.J. McCarthy talk out of the Giants camp. And to me, whatever I hear out of the Giants camp, I know the opposite is what's going to happen. It's kind of typical all over again. Yeah, exactly. Oh, we hate Kevon Tippett. Oh, we're going to get a wide receiver no matter what. This is not what we do. We tell people what we're going to do and then we do the complete opposite. At this point, it's almost like you should know that whatever the Giants say they're going to do or the rumors come out the Giants are going to do, that's what the Giants won't do. So to me, JJ McCarthy is off the table. And, you know, we'll probably, like I said, probably go out back in and get a guy like either Bo Nix or Michael Penix or, you know, even wait till later on, maybe get a Spencer Rattler or somebody like that at that point. So we'll see what happens there. Apparently, Connor is also in a He-Man movie. He says, I am Adam, Prince of Eternia and Defenders of the Secrets of Castle Grayskull. This is Cringer, my fearless friend. Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day that I held aloft my magic sword and said, By the power of Grayskull. I have the power. Crenshaw became Mighty Battle Cat, and I became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. Only a few others share this secret. He's still going on. Our friends, the Sorcerer, Man-at-Arms, and Orko, together we defend Castle Grayskull from the evil forces of Skeletor. I haven't seen He-Man forever. I haven't seen Dolph Lundry He-Man. Back in the day. Oh, the movie. You're talking about the movie. Okay. They have the new version now with Kevin Smith was doing for Netflix. It's Netflix, right? Yeah. I watched the first season. I didn't watch the second season. The second season is out. The first season was all right, but they took He-Man out of most of it. It's like, here's He-Man with no He-Man. Hmm. yeah that's a bit of a puzzling move there uh oh john s anderson jr into his house he says I want a new drug one that won't make me sick one that won't make me crash my car or make me feel three feet thick I want a new drug one that won't hurt my head one that won't make my mouth too dry or my eyes too red I can't tell is he saying actual drug he's on or is this a song it feels like a song If not, John, you have a song there. I'm just saying, if you pick up a guitar... Get a campfire. That is sounding like lyrics right there. That is definitely sounding like lyrics. All right. Let's get back into our mock draft here. So we got a quarterback. We got a wide receiver. We got an edge rusher. I think we've gotten a lot of the holes fixed that we have here. It's time for some depth. The only thing we haven't fixed that we had there to fix was the corner. as John says just so you know I'm completely naked clothes being cleaned lol thank you for sharing that John appreciate that at least when he says all his laundry is done it's going to be done I'm just glad I didn't ask for the link to start doing the show live. But, yeah, the only spot I don't have us fixing here, and let's be honest, I think at this point it's too late to fix through the draft, is that we do need a second corner. I do still think the Giants will bring in a veteran corner of some kind, and I think they'll let him and Nick McCloud fight it out for that second corner spot. That's just my own personal opinion. McCloud! Before somebody says it, because I feel like people always, oh, we didn't get this. You can't fix every position in the draft. In fact, technically, you're not supposed to fix the positions. We'll take the best player available. But let's be honest, everybody takes a little bit based on that. Or if that was the case, you'd have a team that might have a decent quarterback already taking quarterback in the first overall pick. That's not what happens. You take what you need along with, you know, it's got to be both need and value at that point. Yeah, it's like saying San Diego. It's like L.A. taking a quarterback. Yeah, like the Chargers wouldn't take a quarterback if one of them dropped in their lap, obviously. All right. Let's go into pick number 107 here. 107. And we're talking about a guy that we just talked about here on our running back show. We just posted our last product of this there. So you guys that have been watching on a regular basis are going to be familiar with this name now. And it's time. Oh, the pick is here. Oh, oh, oh. There he is, Mr. Braylon Allen, running back out of Wisconsin. Again, just 20 years old, just turned 20. This is the guy that we talked about. He's kind of the old smash mouth, breaking through tackles, smacking you in the nose kind of guy at that point. This is the guy that does a lot of things that modern NFL just doesn't do anymore because he's not built. He's built like an old school running back. I was about to say, he's... He's like a small fullback in this. Yeah. Which we don't use anymore in this league, apparently. I love it. I'm here for it because you put a guy like that and Devin Singletary, who's, you know, both going to go back and forth, up the middle, up the middle, up the middle. This is going to be a different rush attack we've had compared to Saquon. No disrespect to that, man, but you weren't going to just run him through an eye form right through the tackles there. You did crazy things with Saquon because you want to utilize speed and you knew he wasn't the best at breaking tackles. Now you got guys that this is what they do is they're going to shoot down the middle and they're going to break through tackles. You know, again, Braylon Allen comes through with being good in pass protection already as a rookie, at least according to what he showed in college. Obviously, I see him against the NFL there, but most guys don't have that ability. He does. We can step right in as our number two running back there. You know, you got your short yardage back because let's be honest, the last couple of years, who's been our short yardage back? Daniel Jones. That's not good, guys. When your quarterback with neck issues is your short yardage back in third and fourth downs, that is not good. No, he was just asking to have a season just like we just had. Yeah. And the quarterback there is his ACL. In this draft scenario, obviously, we went ahead and we got Michael Penix Jr. to be our new quarterback. So you're not going to put Daniel Jones in, obviously, for fourth and one either. But you also don't want to go ahead and put Michael Penix in in those scenarios either considering the injury issues that he's had in the past. You want to throw him in in those scenarios? Yeah. No, no. I want him to have a long, fruitful career. But Braylon Allen is the guy that you can put in there and he can go ahead and get exactly those kind of stops at that point for us. Get us that last yard. You know, they can go ahead and get the, you know, the touchdown at that point there on the long drive there, which is when you're at, you know, third and one at the goal line. You know, when you got that fourth and inches, you want to go for it because let's be honest. Giants haven't been exactly new school lately until now. Dable doesn't mind going for the fourth down. This is the first Giants coach that does that kind of stuff. I like that. This is the perfect quarterback. I said perfect running back for that kind of scenario. So I'm liking Braylon Allen there. I pick 107. The bull himself. Oh, yes. Next up, next up, next up, next up. This is the one we traded up with, too. This is what we went from, you know, pick 183 now up to 138 or so. This is our earlier pick that we, you know, anticipated initially here. And listen, we still don't know what's going to happen with... A certain Darren Waller, even the reports that yesterday was, he's still not decided what he's doing. If you're waiting this long, I got to think you're not playing. Even if you're playing, your heart's not at it. It's not his heart. I think he's just concerned about if the rumor is true and it's a CTE thing at that point, he's worried about concussions and issues he's had from one this year, then yeah, I get it. I get it, especially given everything else he's gone through in this man's life. I'm not trying to knock him for it at that point or say his heart's not in it. I think his heart's in it. I think he's just not so sure his body's in it right now. I'm not saying he doesn't have the heart to do it, but if you're taking this long and you're worried about an injury, you're not going to play to your full potential. Probably not. If he's worried about CTE and concussions and going forward with that, you think he's going to go down and run as hard as he can? I think when the whistle starts, you go into muscle memory of doing that stuff. I do. I don't think that's going to stop him. That's not necessarily true. I mean, he may be running out of bounds more than just getting tackled like that. I don't know. Which will take away. We shall see. But we are signing, we're drafting a guy here who's a project tight end. Actually, we took a little earlier than I really thought would be a spot for him. But we are starting to run out of tight ends. There he was. I think he's got some potential. So, yeah. Singing do what diddy diddy dum diddy do. Here he is. Jared Wiley, tight end at a TCU. We talked about him also in our tight end episode. So really, if you guys want full rundown of these players here, we got our quarterback episode, our wide receiver episode, our tight end episode, our running back episode. You guys mentioned all these guys we drafted here. And Braylon Trice will come up. Obviously, we do our edges later on probably next week or so. Anyway, Jerry Wiley, again, is a guy who has good hands, good at running after the catch there, pretty quick for his size, and he's got a pretty high ceiling. But he's helped with blocking. He's got a little trouble getting separation. He's definitely a developmental tight end. And, you know, it's exactly what we need. You pair him up with Bellinger at that point, and he's kind of the wish version of Waller. and you go back to having a receiving tight end and a blocking tight end, and you can put them both in the field, and he's not as bad a blocker as Waller is, but he's not as good a receiver as Waller is. Again, we talked about the tight end episodes. I don't want to repeat for those who have been watching all the shows, but one thing I like about him is the fact that he's extremely aggressive with his blocking. He may not be the best at it, but God damn it, that guy gets it. He tries. that guy gets an e for effort like I will take a guy like that's got a good motor keeps on trying understands the importance of it but just has to get better at it you know stick him with some some guys there that they can hopefully teach him some better technique at that point and let him go for it and see what develops out of this guy worst comes to worst he's going to be a backup tight end and you're picking him at 138 it's not like you're picking him at 38 so you know if he's just a backup tight end that makes it on your roster for a few years that's what you're getting at 138 138 is not your pro bowl selection spots there at that point but what's weird about it is that is a spot that a lot of the better tight ends are drafted is that kind of range yes right that was the ballpark where kelsey was taken Yeah, I mean, so, you know, who knows? You never know. You take a shot at a guy, you hope he pans out, and if he doesn't pan out, it's pick 138. Who cares? You have him for a couple years as a backup, and you move on once he becomes too expensive if he does not fit long-term, you know? No biggie. Yeah. All right. Got one more pick, guys. One more pick. We're going to celebrate. One more pick. Oh, yes. And we always do go ahead and pick one specific spot. Every single draft. That's what they do. There's one position that the Giants cannot go full draft without getting. And that is defensive tackle. See, look in that deep. Oh, yes. And that's Gabe Hall at a Baylor defensive tackle there. Now, let me go over a little bit with him, guys, because this, again, this is our last pick of the draft. This is a guy who probably won't make our defensive line episode and everything because he's going to be drafted much later than we're talking about there. 6'6", 287 pounds. Last year, 12 games, 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. Prior year in 22, 13 games, 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and returned a fumble for a touchdown as well. In the pro side, he's got good length, he's got good size, and he's got good motor. I will always take a guy who tries late in the draft. Always will take that guy because you can't teach that. You're either somebody who tries or you don't. This is a guy who really does put his heart into the field at that point and tries with everything he can. Cons-wise, though, is he lacks the explosiveness you'd like to see out of the position at that point and lacks some of the power. Now, the question is, can you improve his technique? Can you maybe get him in the weight room and add a couple pounds of muscle onto that body at that point there? This is, again, a guy who tries and has a high motor is most likely the guy who's going to do that. And if you can get a guy to pick 166 that you think you can possibly improve on, the worst comes to worst, he's the bottom-level guy you have in your defensive tackle room. Again, it's 166, guys. I'm not going to sit in and hype up all these picks as being amazing starters and Pro Bowl caliber players and stuff like that. It's 166. That's where we're at, guys. That's where we're at. You've already picked three NFL teams worth of players here at this point. That's 10% of the league already drafted at that point. Think about that. So that just tells you, chances are, this guy's going to be a backup kind of player. So let's be realistic with that. I'll take the guy who's got the high motor, a guy who's got, you know, he's been a good teammate at Baylor at that point that you hope maybe you can develop into something at that point. But worst comes to worst, you got a guy who tries hard, he's got a good size, he can clog up the middle for you. There's nothing wrong with that whatsoever. I'll take it. So we end up the draft here. With, you know, I think a lot of nice spots being filled up there at that point. You know, we went ahead and we got our top wide receiver. Something we haven't had since the days of OBJ. To be honest, that's where we're at. You know, we went ahead and get... our um you know our new quarterback potentially that we're going to give a little time to and see what he develops into you know we go ahead and get another edge rusher and you can never have enough edge rushers guys remember we had the super bowl winning teams I know it's been a while but we were so long ago we used to win super bowls back in my day At that point, we had a whole bunch of pass rushers. It wasn't like, we have Strahan, we're good. I feel like we've kind of done the last couple of years with Kayvon. We have Kayvon, we're good. And the Kayvon isn't even fully developed either. He's still in the developmental stage, let's be honest. Oh, 100%. So you got, you know, back then, though, you had Strahan, you had JPP, you had OCU Manura, you had Justin Tuck, you had Matthias Kiwanuka. That was a loaded edge room because the Giants understood that if you want to beat, if you want to beat the Giants, as anybody else, I should say, you want to be the Giants and beat someone, you have to go ahead and get the quarterback and disrupt the quarterback. And, yeah, that is just insanity at that point. That kind of pass rush. That's like a legendary one. If you listen to anybody who hates Eli, they talk about, oh, of course he had that defense. First off, the defense wasn't that good, guys. We really want to get into it. The defense wasn't that great besides the pass rush. But because they had a great pass rush, people think that's why they got the Super Bowls. They had the Super Bowl because of Eli. But that was the star of the defense was that pass rush. And if you guys now throw in Kayvon Thibodeau, Brian Burns, Aziz Ojolari, and Braylon Trice, that's a good quartet there. You're ready to start a barbershop sing-along there. I was strolling along on Moonlight Bay. It's funny. I try to start singing along in barbershops. No one sings along with me. No one does. Where do these times come from? Who started this here? Who started this rumor? What's gotten into this? This is what's wrong with kids nowadays. They don't sing at the barbershop. These whippersnappers. So we go ahead and get our short yardage backup running back now in Braylon Allen. We go ahead and get our development tight end with Jared Wiley. And we go ahead and get some depth there in the defensive line with Gabe Hall. Like I said, to me, that's a pretty damn good draft. And the kicker in this whole thing is on top of that, guys. We went ahead and we got... an extra pick in the draft. We got an extra pick next year, a first-round pick, where if we have an obvious need... Or if there's a player we really love and want to just, I don't care, screw it, we're getting this guy. You know, we have that option. We haven't had that kind of option the last couple of years because we haven't had the extra first round pick minus the year we took Kayvon and Evan Neal, the burger flipper. But, you know, we already had five and seven. We didn't really need to move up for anything specific at that point. Yeah. But, you know, that's where we're at. So, again, I think that overall, I think we got some good players in this draft by doing that. I think it's a good mix. We got some defensive help, but we focused mostly on the offensive side of the ball. And let's be honest, that's where we need the help. We need the help on offense. Our offense is ridiculous. And... Now we got the moves. We got a nice young core of players to come in and give some good options there at that point. All right, let's go into some of the comments here. Actually, before the comments, I'm going to give you guys a little more of a statement than a comment there. I want to make sure people are aware because I know a lot of people are talking about stuff that John Mayer is saying this and Giants bet with this player and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. The Giants are picking at six. I don't think it's something we need to tell you guys that they're going to meet with all the top receivers and all the top quarterbacks. But if we need to, hey, guess what, guys? They're going to meet all the top quarterbacks and all the top wide receivers. There are some guys that do complete shows in the fact that, oh, my God, they had dinner with Jaden Daniels. Well, of course they had dinner with Jaden Daniels. Why would they not? They need a quarterback. They're picking six. Of course they're going to meet with the guys in case someone drops. You never know what happens between now and then. Drafts be crazy. Oh, my God. They had dinner last night with Malik Nabors. You think they might meet with the top wide receiver? We need a wide receiver, and it's going to be there potentially at number six? You think they might do that? John Mara walking around like chef from South Park. Hello there, children. I don't understand why that's top news. Or like, oh my God, John Mara says that Joe Shane's going to be allowed to pick a quarterback if he wants to. Of course he is. He's the GM. What do you think John Mara is going to say? No, I love Daniel Jones. No one else could be quarterback. Is that what we really expected this man to say? So, like I said, we're not going to go over all that stuff with you guys there. It's not because we don't think you guys are interested in this stuff and that we can't figure out a way to finagle an episode or two out of that kind of BS. I'm not going to insult your guys' intelligence with that. You all are smart enough to realize that that's normal. Look, Pete! That's normal. That's clickbait. Exactly. It's BS. That's people just saying it's the offseason. We need to fill up some shows. So we ain't going to do that. I know some people are also talking about the fact that the Giants also hired a new assistant line coach there, James Ferentz, who was an offensive lineman for the Patriots for some years there. You know, he's a guy who Carmine Purcell obviously worked at when he was over in New England. But again, he's an assistant offensive line coach. It's not that crazy to pick up a new assistant coach to your new coach that you just got for that job. But he's also never been a coach before, so we don't know what to expect of him. So to have to try to go on a tangent about this guy, like, oh, he's going to bring this and that to the table. I mean, that's insanity. The guy played 61 games in his career, started 10, played mostly center, played a little bit of guard the last year. It's like there's not much to talk about there, guys. So we're not going to BS and try to get you guys into that stuff. So like I said, I won't insult you guys' intelligence like that. Let's go into those comments that we had. John's got a whole bunch of comments here. We haven't seen John forever, by the way, live in the show, man. So it's good to see you. So luckily we don't see you see those since you said you're naked. But yeah. uh he says there's an 11 admission fee to watch me live and he says deb and beef you get half off okay I guess they're regular listeners so they get half off he said thanks guys for putting me up as a silver member at the end of the show my life is complete now freedom no thank you man for sponsoring the show it's definitely appreciated um He says, so explain to me, if Daniel gets hurt, we got to pay him whole year's money, plus we are on the hook for another $25 million next year if we cut him. So if Daniel Jones gets hurt next year, basically he's got injury guarantees is what it is. So if we cut him next year, we're still going to have to pay him. It's going to be a cap hit of like in the 20s of million dollars. I got to look up the exact numbers here for him. But if he gets hurt, I believe that like the whole year is guaranteed or something like that is what it is. I don't know the exact number. 40 million or something. Yeah, it's in the 40s. It's no longer in the 20s like it's going to be otherwise. So that's a freaking massive, massive difference there at that point, obviously. So let's see here. Daniel Jones, if we cut him next year, we get $22.2 million dead money and we free up $19.4 million. Wow. So yeah, that's not too shabby. And that's according to over the cap there. Now, over the cap doesn't give me anything as far as injury guarantees and that kind of stuff there. So I can't tell you too much on that part of it there to see the exact. Let's see. John says, Roberto, we need to get you some NY Giants posters in background. At least another gangster chain like DMC Drew is rocking. Hells yeah. One DMC here. I want to make sure you saw Miss Peaches. Do-wa-dippity. It's tricky. It's tricky. Dance, juju, rock around. You rock around. It's peaches. It's peaches. Let's see here. John says, where's my baby oil? Oh, wait. This isn't Pornhub. No, it's not Pornhub. No. John says, did you by chance see Saquon interview in the Kelsey Brothers show? No, I didn't see that, to be honest. I'm kind of like, you know, I'm kind of just done with the Saquon thing, to be honest with you. Pretty much. There's been clips of it that he's asked Kelsey to come back and be on the line. I heard of that. Yeah. And I'm fine with that. Somebody I saw really got upset about that. Like, oh, that's disrespectful. The man made a big decision to talk to his family. Listen, I don't care. He's been doing that for the past few years. It's not a big deal. Like, if he wants to go ahead and get, you know, try to get Kelsey to come back and play another year, then I don't see a big deal on that. Plus, it's not like he, like, did, like, a whole thing and showed up at his house at the Boombox, like, you know, Breakfast Club. Yeah. What was that? The 16 Candles? What were 80s movies like that? I'm trying to remember. John Cusack. I think 16 Candles. That was the Don't You Forget About Me one. One of my karaoke jams. Don't you forget about me. It's hard to do that when you're some schmuck outside my window with a boom box waking up the neighbors. I think I remember that one. Are these agreed upon picks or just yours, Drew? I got here late. Roberto, did you pick different ones? There are my picks, but Rob always has the opportunity to disagree, agree. We've agreed on the top three for a while. Yeah. If we need a quarterback, we need a wide receiver. If you want to get a quality edge guy, you're going to have to get them by round three or they become crap. Yeah. Honestly, it depends on just who's available the rest of it at that point. You've got to do strength. Rob's pretty much in agreement with the picks there, but he has this opportunity. Maybe this one instead of that one or whatever. He does that from time to time. Rob's his own man. That's right. Deb says, I read that Bill Walsh with the 49ers used to take a quarterback every draft. I guess the Eagles have been doing that too. Kind of makes sense. It depends. I mean, I guess it depends on what you've got and what you're looking for at that point there. Again, it's the most important position on the field. You don't have a quarterback. You're kind of screwed. But I think that you can take a bunch of quarterbacks more often, especially what the Giants do, and just see what you got. I mean, they kind of did that towards the end of Eli's time frame. It was like, let's get Davis Webb. Let's get the kid from Syracuse we got. No, the one whose brother was defensive end. And listen, I'm not trying to use this to make it that kind of topic, but the one whose brother came out as gay, the defensive end, Nassib, Carl Nassib. There we go. I had to think of his name. But, yeah. Yeah, Ryan Nassib was his brother. That was the guy we drafted. Carl was the defensive end. But, yeah, I mean, there's nothing wrong with taking a bunch of them. And the Giants, like I said, were doing that for a while. They were getting, like, mid-round quarterbacks. Kyle Oletta comes to mind. You know, that kind of stuff there. You know, and you get a whole bunch of them, and you just see if one happens to be anything decent. There's nothing wrong with that mentality. That's for damn sure. Especially because you keep getting decent, cheap quarterbacks at that point to be your backups if you keep drafting them. Correct. But again, it depends on who you have to start with. Our problem is we need a starting quarterback. We have plenty of backups. Until we get a quarterback, keep on drafting. We got plenty of backups. Deb says, if you have your guy and get another good one, use his trade. Exactly, and that's what the Lions, I still think, should do with Hedden Hooker. Again, he's like 24, 25 years old now, and it's like he's got three more years in his contract. What are we going to do with this guy afterwards? Give him a chance to start if he gets one. John leaves us a blank comment that I'm guessing is not supposed to be blank, but John, that came up blank, whatever that was. Shooting blanks, my friend. Shooting blanks. All righty, guys. So tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, we'll be live tomorrow. We're going to go over with you guys there. We're trying to break it up a little because I know it gets a little boring for you guys if we just do, here's the position for this, and here's the top players for this position. Here's the top players. So we're trying to break it up a little bit this week for you guys. We did a lot of that last week, and we'll do a lot of it again next week. So this episode, we're going to do top players available that are sons of former NFL players. there's a lot of them out there guys this is uh this is definitely a a very special draft class as far as you know family trees here you know you got guys in just let's say just the wide receiver room for a second here You have a son of the best wide receiver to ever wear the uniform. I'm sorry what anybody else says, but they can kiss my tuchus on that one in Jerry Rice. You have one of the top five wide receivers of all times in T.O., having one of his kids in the draft there as well. You got one of the top, probably top five to top ten at worst case. Obviously, Marvin Harrison Jr., his dad was a freaking awesome player as well. You know, you got the... You got Ed McCaffrey's son in there. Ed McCaffrey was like a 7,000 receiver at that point for his career. He's a guy who's definitely not T.O. and not Jerry Rice, but nothing to scoff at by any means at that point there. And again, that's just the wide receivers. so we got 12 players overall we're gonna go over there with you guys including some juniors so make it a little confusing in the talk but but we're gonna go over there with you guys um all those players there because I think some of it's always kind of interesting to see at that point there especially if you're a fan of one of these players when their dad's played at that point. You might have even seen these kids on the field with them after games and stuff like that, and then now you see this guy in the draft. It's kind of fun to watch, though. It makes you feel old as hell, that's for damn sure. Especially if you're one of the players like Frank Gore who just played a couple years ago, and here's this kid coming out of college now. That's because Frank Gore played like 25 years. He still could have played. I still think he could have played, honestly. I'm surprised no one picked him up. He wanted to play, too, it looks like. Someone should have kept him going at that point. What was his last year, like 20? I think so. Maybe 21. Imagine he's still playing and his son comes into the league and he gets drafted to the team with his dad. Like LeBron wants. Yeah, 2020 was his last year. He's a guy that, again, probably could have kept playing a little bit if he wanted. He was still averaging 3.5 yards per carry, which is not great, but had 653 yards with the Jets there his last season. So it wasn't like he did nothing and just sat on the bench at that point. Yeah. He got 3.5 as a backup or... Yeah, third string, still pretty good. Yeah, I guess that's 600 yards. I mean, he ended up with exactly 16,000 yards for his career, too. That's crazy. That's a lot of yards. A lot of yards, guys. All right. So, again, we'll be back here for you guys there tomorrow. Again, 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time is always there.
