holy moly how do we do it we won look at the ticket tap parade behind did it can I make a suggestion for those making the uh NFL schedule next year could we just play the commanders every week I feel like we'd go to the Super Bowl for the next 17 games could we play it's like the Washington commanders it's known as the team we will not call team names the former football team yes I mean it's it's like they play us and this is gonna hurt a little when I say it this way but it's the truth the commanders play us as bad as we play the Eagles and the Cowboys yes yes I hate to say it that way because it's like almost like a positive towards those two teams but that's how bad it is for them like I I talk about this the pregame it wasn't just Daniel Jones that's very good against the commanders saquon Barkley's had his best games ever basically against he had two plays for 65 yards plus yeah 36 yards and 31 yards so 66 yards sorry simple math I mean freaking Tommy deito here looks like the QB of the future let's be honest we know he's not I'm not claiming he is

hey majority majority of the NS no no usually they get one guy one guy who's had one too many concussions and they've had one guy who has never played and has no cool but he has a cool voice that's not wrong but that's usually what it is as much as I don't want to minute actually I'm a fan of Tony Romo innon games uh you know what i i i as much as I hate to admit at Chris Collinsworth I actually do like him I actually I just I just hate the NEP son got a job as well I used to Lo Chris Conor uh cworth but I feel like he is really the past two years in better has got I I'll still stick toally better he has gotten like not just like a little better but like he is Boom stuffed up his game I'll still stick to the Manning cast is the best cast of all all of them because oh yeah especially when their option is Troy mman who's is is about as vanilla announcer as he was a quarterback the most vanilla uh JC out there yes yes basically uh all right any back to the game back to the game here we go on tangents here we're all excited we won for once we're like oh my God we did this we did I forgot my R and it's like we're happy and it's nice that like you know we're we're let's be honest this hurt or draft stock but this I think was a good thing for the team still to have this kind of win from start to finish because we're talked about the issues potentially happening in the locker room there's reports coming out of that winds help fix these things 100% does but um we we kind of talked about this a little bit offline as well uh um we beat the commanders that's just what we do and we like we said it we said it at the beginning of show um DJ that's his most Su say oh yeah now and talk about last uh early in the week is you know we're probably going to squeak out you know a win or two maybe three more early in the week so obviously we squeak this one

out would you rather squeak this game out I'm I'm just going on a little bit of the Tantrum here yeah just watch this would you rather squeak this one out or an upset against the Eagles uh I always rather upset the Eagles I mean like we know we have the potential to do this but like at the same time you take our third stram quarterback the talent we have now at this offense and defense and you squeak out a win against the the Eagles then the kind of draft looks a little different like oh people get like soft about this person this person this person I don't any soft spot coming for any of the quarterbacks in this roster let's be honest no no no no no I mean obviously our first and second stre quarter uh first and second stream quarterback are not playing them but I'm just saying you know this is kind of like all right we won against team we win against yeah let's move forward but if but what I'm saying is oh it's a good thing not it helps the confidence of the team we're a team that was rumored to be being getting lost by the coaching staff basically and we've seen that before let's be very honest we saw that before with the mustache himself Ben madoo what happened when a team loses enough that you Lo lose the locker room you know guys getting suspended guys getting traded because they were cancer on the in the locker room you know I don't think David would ever had that happen because I think he's a much better Coach than madoo ever was but it's still nice to give that help that okay we're doing better we're getting better we're getting healthier we're improving because I still think a lot of the reason where we have this bad loss uh losses we've had is because of all the goddamn injuries you can blame all you on a lot of the things here but you try to show me a team that's had more injuries than the Giants this

year third string quarterback was missing every single part of their offensive line at different parts throughout the season was missing their star running back for weeks their top receiver which is obviously their tight end Darren Waller is out for a while now Darius Slayton hurts himself today even at that point you know it's like you lose Dory Jackson your top corner you you know you you lose people at different times and it's it's just absolutely CA chaos this is like a recipe for disaster that no one could have put in a cookbook basically like it just is what it

is yeah I AG the whole thing case that we get crushed because that's what you want you don't want to get

crushed that's part of the reason why I brought up the whole Eagles scenario it's like we listen anytime we play The Eagles I want to win regardless of stock I don't care I'd rather give up an extra first round pick and trade down and say I agree but we expect we expect to get crushed by the Eagles at this point it's a fair it's a fair statement because like you know eight and one they're aru arguably the best team in the NFL right now because of the record arguably are they I'm gonna say no

but it's easy to look at us be the commanders like okay let's proceed forward like this is what it is if we beat the Eagles there's going to be a lot of more expectations of the players that we might want to get rid of no I think I think I think the Giants have already figured out what they wanted to do and don't want to do with different players in the roster they already have the plan for this offseason ready to go I really think that nothing's going to change that nonetheless we win every single game the rest of the way which you know is not going to happen let's be honest I I hear you but like you you sit there and Mick Cloud plays as well as he does against the Eagles today like Nick McLoud is a good player I want him as part of this I want him as part of the future listen I don't think he's a starter I'm not I'm not I'm not being delusional because of a good game I think he's a decent bench piece to have that we should want to keep so I don't think this game changes that's what I said yeah I don't think this changes it I don't think the rest of the season changes it I'm just saying like if D at one point was like uh know maybe if we could improve here and then you play Eagle is your D impression it would be like no

celebrate All right so Tommy DeVito 18 of 26 in the day nine and a half passing average that's not bad per per passing necessarily uh three touchdowns the big one zero picks guys zero picks nine times sacks uh and you know that's the only thing you could really sit there and say on Tommy today was the sacks because a lot of the sacks let's be very Frank he should have throw the damn ball he had a big he had a big sack you don't give up nine sacks unless your quarterback was up your line with that kind of sack oh wow anyway I see I see only one of us gave up the tangents here have some anes

back alrighty uh sequan of the day interesting stat the first half the Giants had zero rushing yards I was gonna say notada zero rushing yards not to say that Barkley was not in that game because he had what a 36 yard uh 20 26 yard catch uh 24 yard oh was 24 sorry sorry I was wrong by two yards yes I was wrong by I'm just looking at the box score that's the longest catch he had so was was 24 yards so it couldn't have been 26 so then was was his his longest Rush 26 because they were like right there 10 36 was his longest Rush okay okay but I mean saquan we talked about this again he's had most of his biggest games he's had been against the commanders and he did it again um 14 carries 83 yards 5.9 average um you know ended up also with um you know two touchdowns on catches had a lot of big catches in this game overall uh very much like a Christian mcaffrey kind of game for him today I'll say it that way and I I say it with the is a yes that is a very good assessment four catches 57 yards two touchdowns I mean and it wasn't just like you said it wasn't like dink dun he was a deep threat a couple of times times as as far as receivers go it wasn't like he was doing 90 yard bombs to Barkley but he was doing you know a couple of 20 yard ones there listen like our listen our thir string quarterback is not going to be throwing a n yard bomb but if you look at that if you're looking at a 20 30 yard bomb like that's impressive from a third string quarterback I'll take any I'll take it from a first string or even 20 30 yard catches are always going to help the offense I mean let's be honest especially an undrafted you know quarterback

on the day here's let's go over the rest of the rushing D Vito Rush once for seven juandale once for two and then Matt breida three times for negative one yards that a very much an old school Josh Jacobs kind of day yeah he uh well I mean he had a that big um was it 10 yards in the back field where he got a hit we also had he also got stopped in that third yard down as well so yeah yeah um or maybe his eight yard whatever he he had a big stop yeah uh receiving wise Darius Leon four catches 82 yards and a touchdown he was obviously left the game though with an injury we'll have to keep an eye and see what happens there because if he's like most Giants he's probably out for the season it's just our luck we have yeah I mean hopefully it was something with his right arm like when it when he came back up like it didn't look like it was too bad but I don't know we'll have to see um Daniel Bellinger three catches 38 yards long one is a 26 yard which should have been a touchdown guys if you watch that game he was wide the freak open there was not a single player within 15 yards of him it just took forever for DeVito to see him or else that would have been such a big like easy touchdown it's not even funny um but doesn't matter we scored that drive anyway uh juandale Robinson three catches 35 uh Isaiah Hodgins two catches 22 Jaylen Hyatt one for seven Sterling one for five so yeah not too shabby a game overall for the offense 31 one points this is now here's the scary thing your way is Tommy DeVito Tommy freaking DeVito has two of the top three offensive outputs by the Giants this season now I mean that's not hard since he played like close to third of those games he's playing two games he's played more than just two games he started two games no well I up I said two starts though he two starts you say he two starts okay well it's two starts for two of the top three offensive outputs by the Giants all season

long that's that's scary Ty Taylor what was that I said straight up Beats Tyrod so far this year beat Daniel Jones this year so far yeah I mean the only other time we put only that's time we put up more points is when we play Arizona Arizona that was it so last week was the third most points we put up all season this was the second most points we put up all season so just it's a weird like I said it's weird it's just like he's obviously he's not a better quarterback than those other two were it's just a weird coincidential kind of thing the way it works out and obviously that they were helped a lot by the turnovers having six turnovers gonna help an offense I mean yeah when you're defense plays like a top three defense oh yeah I mean really offense dominant Day by the defense 100% I mean absolutely absolutely insane here um you know we also have to mention something though that I didn't even hear them mention at all during the game itself I believe Bobby O car has officially gone over a 100 tackles he had 14 tackles today he had 91 leading up to the the day so he's at he should be if 105 tackles there that's pretty damn good yeah that's that's yeah that's pretty damn good guys he's he's very close to break I was say closing in Giants history yes now speaking of giants history here's another guy we got to talk about I don't think he'll break the most record as far as the Giants um but he's going to get towards that know top 10 at the very least um is Kavon Tibido with his sacks now now at 10 and a half sacks in the season now having the two you know you look at the Giants alltime leaders and sacks um he's we talked about before we went over best pass rushers like he might start being in that conversation even already yeah second year Hey listen everyone everyone was upset about how slow he started this year and us as scoop boss what do we say it's early in the year look the guy the guy work G to do his thing yeah we we did knock him for some of the stuff he did and I still will say that he still needed to improve on some of that stuff like you know like stopping the quarterback from running up because he went past the edge position he should be at you know that kind of stuff but the kid tries and I don't mean that like a negative way like if you don't think this guy puts his heart in this game like you're kidding yourself yeah he

he even if he's not gonna be a giant for a career he wants to be the best player he could possibly be no matter what and you can't take that away from him because like if you're at if you draft a competitor that's what you want you want a competitor you want a guy that's going to go out there and be the best position that he could be at and yeah and like said he cares about getting to the pass pass at that point he cares about getting to the quarterback so you know I still think he needs some work on his his coverage against the run but I mean that going to happen with time he's again like you mentioned he's a secondy year player so I looked it up to see out of curiosity to be put into the top 10 in Giants history single season sacks you need to get to 14 he's at 10 and a half already that's that's a pretty safe bet that he'll probably get there guys if he does that as a junior uh as a software software if if he does that long that puts him in I'm gonna list you guys who's in this top 10 when I mean like I'm just trying to put a little you know oomph on like what I mean by what kind of season he's having now in the top 10 10 OC um manura Michael Strahan the goat Lawrence Taylor Leonard Marshall and jpp Jason Pierre Paul who could to get about 10 that's the that's the company he's gonna be

in I mean good yeah like like six of those positions are either LT or Strahan but str's got for himself i g to say stran is uh st's got four of the top 10 I mean but that again this is the kind of this is the kind of position he's in based on the season he's having guys that's that's goddamn impressive um listen if you're talks about being next to straan in Giants history you he good talks yeah you're straan OC and and LT and Marshall I mean you know I mean even throw jpp had that one really good year back in 2011 that puts him in that ballpark there good luck tips yeah that's like I said it's it's pretty goddamn impressive um you know it's almost like no matter what happens this season we still have Kavon and okar as legit stars on this defense to go along with Dexter Lawrence who we already knew cuz the last year was a star so like I said things are looking up for the defense now it's just a matter of getting an actual quarterback eventually so we can get an offense going get that and get a legit wide receiver one and all of a sudden this team's turning around yeah Lally where we're at like said like we wanted DJ of last year to come back this year and play well Play We W better than last year well we got far worse than last year but if you play just as well as you did last year this team would be a better team than it was last year that's all you had to do is just play as good as he was because this defense is playing way better oh yeah than they did last year well they're playing better at times let's be honest they like they got romped last week so let's not get too carried away I mean did they get romped last year yes they yes did you watch did you did you watch him against uh the Cowboys last year did you watch against Philly last year yeah we got spanked a lot uh I would say we got spanked against the Eagles I don't think we got neily spanked against the um the Cowboys on defense the offense got spanked by the Cowboys defense our defense didn't get spanked by the Cowboys

offense okay you're right now right so like I said I but this is like I said this year they did twice you know the first game we had turnover you also say that again like no we also got spanked by the Cowboys defense because no and that's I'm saying but the first one the first one yes I wouldn't put it last week on the defense that was the offense oh yeah no 100% that's what I'm saying we're agreeing it's split um let's go over what this defense did though against the commanders though because I I said it's pretty impressive what they did overall um Sam how was 31 of 45 for 255 had one touchdown three interceptions like I said four sacks in the game pass a rating of 62.7 uh rushing the ball which keep in mind this is a extremely pass you know heavy team this year not like they were in the past but they still have the same guys they had last year that are known for rushing the ball and rushing the ball and Rush the ball Brian Robins didn't junr 17 carries 73 yards so 4.3 average not too shabby Chris Rodriguez Jr six catches I sorry six carries 43 are 7.2 average Sam Howell 335 11.7 average Derek Gore 223 11.5 they actually had 174 rushing yards average 6.2 per carry I I'll say this and it it's it's kind of sounds a little scary to say because I don't want to look negative on this game because it's a positive this is a you know get the locker room a little happier kind of game here but if Washington ran the ball more often this very well could have been a different game because you don't get the three interceptions necessarily and he start if you keep rushing the ball at six six uh yards per click yeah I mean Robson Jr last year like he probably would had 30 rushes in this game compared to 17 yeah and if you would have kept up what he was doing with those rushes it's a different ball

game just like you said he's when you're averaging pretty much five yards a

rush what was he 4.9 or 4.3 sorry so you're averaging four yards you know a carry Yeah well yeah that's does he's not the guy who's ever going to get six seven yards a carry he's he's a banging up down the middle you know get four four yards or so and call it a day and keep going it's what he is but the rest of the guys all had much more and I brought it up two point like I said I to me it's just it it's it's a mistake by the commanders they should have ran the ball more often this game was never that that Out Of Reach to abandon the run it wasn't that kind of game um receiving wise Logan Thomas was the leading receiver because of course Giants never can carry uh can cover a tight end five carry five catches 58 yards uh Brian Robinson Jr was Who start put him as a runner but now he's also their second um actually tied for most yards and had most catches 57 catches 58 yards Scary Terry Terry mccan gets held in check pretty much for the mo most part five catches 43 yards Johan dos3 in the touchdown Pringle 22 I mean nobody really killed us here on the passing game um so like I said to me that was a mistake by Washington they should have run the ball run the ball run the ball run the ball it's like they didn't want to win the game it really was like that between the turn turnovers that they kept on giv up there and the fact that they were like successful in one part of their offense not on the other and they're like we can't pass the ball with [ __ ] we're running the ball very well what should we do like keep passing let's look at the Giants defense of last year who was one of the worst Russian defenses of last year who

also they're so those comrades did not take that Talent over to this year and they're still all listeners Russia they're still bad Russian defense and yeah we haven't been very good at they wanted to throw the ball instead of Rush against us so yeah this is am I be commers have done all year yeah I mean Sam H how like he is a success

story he's I don't want to say he's a Cinderella Man because he's not quite he's not going to take the team to the playoffs but he's been the best passer that team has had in a long time so again they want to play with a new toy but if the team you're playing against can't stop the run and your run is working why you gonna throw the

ball yeah so like I I mean I is I'm not gonna be upset that they decided to play Bad ball against us but no no like I said I'm definitely not either I'm I'm all for it I am all for it I'm just saying it's there's so many things they did wrong that as much as I hate to say it as a giant fan even it's more like the what did they it's like did the commanders not want to win this game like I just I don't get it like did they did they want to take our draft pick yeah that's our draft I am taking I'm taking that tinf foil hat I'm shaping up to Giant

atena they were like oh the game's Clos here you go here's the ball yeah and then it's like okay you guys can't stop you guys can't stop the run let's pass it it's like yeah like I said and and I hate to say it that way but that's what this is more a loss on the commanders and it is a win for the Giants it really is I mean Grant it I grant it drew remind me how many how many picks did the Giants have today uh three three all right how many do we have all year oh they make me look that up close probably close to that so I get trying to throw in US because we

haven't so it's it's it's six we had half our picks for the Year this week oh so I was pretty much dead on we had about the same from today through the whole year so I get trying to throw the ball on us because have we been good on turnovers yeah no no but we have been good at not letting the Deep ball play out yeah I'm trying to see total number of takeaways but every time I Google it just keeps on saying three key takeaways or five key takeaways I'm like I'm not looking for that I'm looking for takeaways yeah the um the Giants have been good at stopping the Deep ball they have not been good at getting takeaways yeah like I said to me just they they have also let up feet balls bad bad game plan by by by this uh Commander team at that point like I said I'll gladly take it I'm glad they messed up I want the win I hope you know it helps the morale s to speak because listen it's a lot more season to go guys we still got to play the Eagles twice we still got to play some other teams as well so you know Saints are an average team Packers look pretty good today they're kind of an average team you know Rams have had their moments as well so but there still where there not like we have Cakewalk the rest of the way guys um next week's going to be I think zero points next week's gonna be the interesting

one we gotta face the Packers I Patriots I mean but you know like I said we can't count on six in six uh six takeaways per game guys that's not typical that's not normal which is and let's be honest without those takeaways

quarterback I mean that that's he didn't have a good quarterback last year as much as I wanted admit he never had a good quarterback in the league never was he not there with Eli he was there with the one year with Eli and it was Eli's last year don't say that shenan okay it was Eli's last year we've all talked about how Eli was declining at that point he never he didn't have the elite Eli he had the the above average Eli okay I'm just saying don't put Eli's name down like that I'm not putting his name down I'm saying he was an elite his last year starting in this league there's also like a sar there's the reason we drafted a quarterback the next year and benched him after four games

ding dingding really adds to it and my dad says the win is okay from the draft standpoint because if we take a QB I want them to take Jaden Daniels I mean again one win we were expecting to have some wins I I'm not upset about a one win I I I'll be somewhat upset if they go on like a a huge like you know run and all of a sudden get like 98 or eight- n you know go crazy like that yeah CU but even at that point there guys there are so many damn quarterbacks in this draft we're going to get a quarterback either way it was funny I actually I was talking to uh a guy locally who's uh he's a goofball as well and he well our fans are goofballs are they not yes so he was a he was a fail of goofball and we start talking about the game and we started talking about drafts and he goes do you think we're going to get Caleb and I said I don't think we want him in this market by the way happy birthday Caleb Williams yeah happy birthday but if you're gonna go crying to your mom if you're gonna go crying to your mom do you think he's gonna make it in the New York Market oh my God I can imagine him crying now at the podium yeah so I'm okay not drafting him because I don't think he's gonna he I don't think he's good for the media around here I uh he may have the talent he may have the talent but does he have the personality to last in the New York Market which is a very hard I still think people aren't talking about and people talk about this with the BYU thing okay um as far as you know guys not being the best you know from BYU but let's talk about the quarterbacks from USC if we're going to talk about that Matt leard Matt Barkley Mark Sanchez John David booty Matt Castle you know Matt Castle played great as a patriot I'm just saying out of those guys there's only two guys I didn't mention there's there's two guys I mentioned Who had who had good careers and Ne neither one of them were Elite but had good careers and that's Carson no hold on there's two guys I didn't mention yet that's Carson Palmer who had a good career again wasn't Elite but a good career and Rodney Pete I mean Caron Palmer was uh Andy dton of decades past I'm just saying that's what he was and then Rodney Pete who Rodney Pete isn't even the most famous person in his own marriage oh geez his wife is a very good actress I haven't seen her anything in a while but she's a very good actress uh Holly Robinson Pete she was a lot of TV shows in all the 90s and zeros and all if you look her up you probably recognize her from stuff uh but I'm just saying that's where we're at and like people talk about BYU quarterbacks and Ohio State quarterbacks you know up CJ Stroud obviously now no one talks about the USC thing for some reason I don't know why they're not immune to it so let's let's let's win some games let the balls roll where the balls Will Roll as far as the draft and listen if we have to trade up to get a quarterback we have to trade up to get a quarterback would I rather we didn't of course i' rather one we want be sitting there when we pick but in the end guys if we go okay now three but if we go three and 14 I don't think people realize the implications of what that'll do to locker room that's a big difference but you're talking about balls rolling true um did you hear about the the testicles that were dripped in glitter was pretty nuts

folks oh my gosh um but yeah like I said I think that's got to be kind of our mantra for the rest of the season is you want to have something positive to go into next year you want to have the the the locker room not be a mess this off season if we can win one or two more games to that point you know you're still at that point four five wins at that point you're still like five and 12 you're still going to have a damn good draft pick probably still a top 10 draft pick and we'll figure it out I mean let's look at it like are are we gonna lose more than the Panthers no Chicago gets that pick can't Chicago win more games than the Giants possibly possibly let's look at especially especially if Justin Fields gets hurt again yeah let's look at these bad teams like we're these minor wins go a long way but doesn't necessarily hurt our draft

Capital it does I I I'll disagree with that part it does hurt a draft capital I just don't think it should matter as much because listen we have we have but we have two we have two second round picks this year okay we have a we obviously have our first round pick next year as well we have the capital to move up in this draft if we have to and it's a lot better to go to locker room okay I got you there first SP kind yeah you kind of interrup you yeah I did I just nudged you the right lane you were the bumpers in my Bing Lane so let's see what we got here today as far as the other guys that were're competing against the Panthers the Cardinals they lost um let's see the Bears lost the Titans lost so yeah we didn't help ourselves trap position wise at that point but again I'll take the win I'll take the win I'm I'm cool with that I just want us to get a good quarterback in this draft and I want us to get whatever quarterback we want regardless of what we have to give up to get him listen we're looking at week 11 there's plenty of time times that the Bears can lose the Arizona they could win if you will Arizona has KL Murray who wants to fight for his job oh yeah he doesn't want to go you think he wants the Cardinals having a top five pick yeah so he's gonna fight for his job to prove a point yep like there's plenty of opportunities for the Giants as much as it want today to lose to get a better draft as terrible as that sounds you said it we will do it don't you worry if there's one thing we've done good this year it's lose we'll figure it out don't you worry yeah well lost like many
