little issues here uh he's the one who got home late from traffic in Philadelphia again what's with the Philadelphia traffic It's Like H it's why you don't go to Philly Philly people are horrible Philly is horrible in general it's got good cheese steaks and that's about it but we're probably back with us in a second there was in the process of setting up when we lost them so in the meantime it gives me a chance to introduce our special guest here you may recognize him from our comments section occasionally there there he is himself cyon how's it going man I'm very good and I'm very excited to be here on your show to giant goose balls to speak it about Giants versus Raiders on Any Given Sunday just like the movie and um and I'm so excited to be part of this incredible special live stream so let's just talk about football and everything could happen like this one so I'm really happy about it I'm really happy so I got to ask because obviously you're the resident ra Raider fan here in the house here you're you're you're the guy who knows and has this this kind of like bond with this team overall that obviously Rob and I don't have so I gotta ask obviously for those who aren't aware first let me recap kind of what happened this week for everybody here so literally in the middle of the night yesterday it was like one o'clock in the morning the Raiders announced that they were going ahead and firing head coach Josh McDaniels who again I said from the gecko should never be head coach this league again I I I've made my disdain for that man quite obvious um so they fired Josh McDaniels and GM David Ziggler who also come from the bellich tree there uh also fired Mick lambardi the offensive coordinator and obviously your your offense has not been anything short of offensive um yeah so they signed Giants linebacker um a former linebacker Antonio Pierce obviously you know everybody here listening probably is well aware of Antonio pierce the man is as a legend within Giants history and then we go ahead and we get you know him as the interim head coach there for the Raiders but then you get bo uh hardigree who is the quarterback coach now becomes the DU offensive coordinator so you got some big changes here in just a short amount of time so I I got to ask your opinion on it overall so what do you think about the moves do you think they were valid moves to make overall you think it was things that had to get done and do you think these are good uh you know solutions to those issues here I mean at the first point right now I was so like um really worri about it because the whole nation they want just Jos M's fire because he's giving like the Patriot Way and it's not very working at all but I just thought because at 1:00 am in the morning because this like a between for the soon right now because the news is gonna happen like at 10 p.m but it's under of the fat right now because the news is just start at the after at the midnight which is I almost gota fall asleep right now but I just saw with the news I was really shocked because the experiment that the GU with Josh mcos and de Ziggler since 2022 isn't working at all because they have bad play cins terrible tackling and of course they want to ball with this pyramid with jimy grappolo who stands Josh martinz but is it not working at all but right now we just see it of Antonio Pierce JM Kelly as a new head coach and general manager for now because and after the season we just find out who's gonna be like the new coach and this is like the opportunity to to reinol like the r at the Oakland Raiders because we're not going to uh go into the Patriot Way like Tom Brady and Bill bin say because we're not get into it because the true roots are really here in Nolan California and what I just saw for the press conference of Antonio Pierce as a linebacker as a linebacker coach and he plays as a linebacker and he just won Super Bowl with the Giants which is incredible and he just had an affair because not only we just had line Baker Antonio pierw also we just have Patrick Graham but I think this is the biggest opportunity to see like the brand new era and all those fans the social media they just wanted get them out for the cach right now I mean I've been I've been t for like in every live streams that I just got it because the coaching is the problem and the whole situation of the locker room it seems that there has a lot of tension and with Mark de to say he just brought to smarted up to F out with Josh Manos and de to because guys this is not working good and I'm afraid had that the to fire you guys because this is not working yeah and AR would just pull out his pants right now say Josh and Dave you fire because it's not working at all because this is not like the patri way because just trying to do with the Raider way like the old way like he does in O California between Al Davis and all that and I think this is like the it's kind of like the bre of fresh air but it comes to New Era but I think going to be like really excited because we had a bigger task against New York Giants because you got Darren Waller as a tight end we got Michael Mayor but also we just got a like of the very important things to put it about for the linebacker room and it's gonna be like really excited yeah well actually Darren Waller is the one disappointment because he's gonna be out for the game he's he's already been called out be nice to have him in there I'd like to have him get a little Revenge back with the with the Raiders there give me one second here we're going to play little musical chairs now the Rob's here with us we can get him over on the right spot here hold on let's see let's

see there we go there we go now everybody's properly labeled on the screen that's the big thing there we about proper labor labeling here over into here everybody has said the right name with the right face there that we all know who everybody is so all right Miss half my face I you're still missing all that facial hair aren't you you're gonna go right back I can tell you're like you're missing it you're missing it I don't know if I'm going to go as long but yeah it's coming back go for it go for it all right so let's give a little background on on these new coaches here because this is part of the the thing with this game now is we can go ahead and we can look at what the Raiders have done recently we can look at what you know the Raiders have done all season here but that's not necessarily doing you a Justice anymore giving you guys a preview with an old regime there's a lot of question marks now we don't know what's going to fully happen with team and how they're going to change things up so um you know obviously we talked about Antonio Pierce in his playing career afterwards uh his first coaching job was at the Long Beach ply High School there in California which was a Powerhouse um took over for was a legendary coach that school um 2014 and 2017 had a really good 14 not a good 15 really bad 16 really bad 17 kept going down down down down downhill there then goes to Arizona State um you know starts off the linebacker coach becomes a co-defensive coordinator with Marvin Lewis of the former you know Bengals head coach there and then eventually becomes the defensive coordinator overall under uh Herman Edwards and famously left to that school Under NCAA violations investigations so there's obviously some question marks what he did there also he was a recruiting coordinator for the uh team as well so definitely was involved in any possible issues there then goes to the Raiders and obviously we see how things are going there in the Raider so you know not the best resume that's for sure for a guy but at the same point I gotta think this was a job that nobody wanted to be very Frank with you I mean you go as an inter room head coach you know you probably got half the season and that's it kind of like when they got Jeff Saturday for the Colts you know we talked about other names there like you mentioned there rapael a minute ago about Patrick Grant the Giants former defensive coordinator is the defense a coordinator now for the Raiders now that's was a guy who you would have thought would step up because he wants the head coaching job by all accounts but he probably saw the writing in the wall saying this might not be the best look for me to be the coach for the second half this year yeah so that's what you see quite often now bo uh hardigree was is the new offensive coordinator he was the quarterbacks coach there formerly so he coached under John Fox another ex giant there uh both in Denver and Chicago as an offensive assistant then coached under Adam gase as a QB coach in Miami and then offensive assistant with the Jets then coached um with Bill bich for one year as an offensive assistant then off to the Raiders so he's been around a little bit there have never been an offensive coordinator so there's a lot of question marks here on this on this coaching staff now that's that's one of my biggest questions walking into this game because Raiders love rallying around new coaches trauma bad coaches getting out all that jiz Jazz but right now you took your linebacker coach who has we'll say Sapar record as a coach yeah raap said a minute ago bad tackling you're a linebacker's coach bad tack exct want the resume trying to be nice because he's an nextg well we'll call like it is we've said bad things about a former Giants before it's okay they're not coming on the show take the quarterback coach who also never called for offensive calls like so who is going to be calling the offensive plays in this game is something that I was thinking about because you got a defensive minded coach right that just tells it's gonna be it's not gonna be the head coach who is a linebacker coach and a defensive coordinator it's going to be your new offensive coordinator there in Las Vegas Bo he's also never called them it's somebody's got to do it for the first time it happens yeah I mean the same point some people step into those roles and do very well right off the bat you know I don't think they put this guy in unless they think that he has a different offense than what they've been doing because if you listen to lot of the reports a lot of the issues is that Davis was upset with the handling of Derek Carr in the end he was upset with the fact that Jimmy G looked like a failed experiment already after just a few games you know he was upset over the fact that they started Brian Hoyer when they had a rookie quarterback sitting there it was a valuable chance to see what they had in this kid that's was the main issues it was all on offense you know you look at the guys who were very upset besides Matt Crosby Max Crosby who's been pretty vocal it's Devonte Adams asking for a trade you got Josh Jacobs having you know almost two yards per carry less than he had last year I mean yeah there's there's there's some definite issues on offense and they were looking for somebody who's going to change everything up on that offense I have a feeling so yeah they were not going to do yeah that's exactly because I I would tell him for anything because right now the Raiders had great talent like Mass Crosby Josh Jacobs and of course Devonte Adams but they just have bad coaching like Josh McDaniels and when Mark David just hired Josh it was specifically to get to the team for the next level but it wasn't to rebuild right now I mean they just look at the team for the M with the players and just like a turnning like a six win team for the first of the first season I mean it's not the first sign would the see the head coach of we resum of Josh McDaniels I mean he took like at a team win team now it's really SE there regressing like every week and it's been saying like that they make an out for everything because it took like an over for the 10 win playoff team they have wor across the world because that defense our defense is reged at the level that we haven't in seen years because of the McDaniels moves I mean and we just tra like because we just trade Ellis bars to Greg Roden I mean that's that's a bad sign right now because Alis bars was really productive and it wasn't like the perfect idea to get involved through all this process right now because they just fail in a lot of different ways because the future coaching candidates they target out for the Raiders they have a G for 10 year contract and speaking about for the uh for the drun Gruden is GNA free edit St because the coaching contracts are the fully guaranteed after they just firing at at Josh McDaniels and John guden they're now paying somewhere between 40 million and $80 to not the coach to team it depends for the G and settlement that's would be like the poor money management and that was like in J about the business and behind the sports I mean is not going to pay it he reach like undisclosed sement with the Raiders in 2021 before I had to go for it but the only pay that the full about for MD if he doesn't coach anywhere else but it's like at the business and it had to be done and I don't really think i' had the idea what's gonna happen with G but it had to go leave and J Sales but it got worse each year and they took over I mean the guaranteed contract and make it a serious sense instead offered signing virus in other country incentives that could be better because coaching contracts will be fully guaranteed but only a select few players had limited guarantees is actually very crazy yes you hear about that a lot but they don't pay the coaches nearly what they pay the players I don't think that's that much of an issue really it's overdone I mean you're talking that the most expensive head coach gets what $10 million1 million a year you got $50 million going out you got $50 million now going to quarterbacks I I I really think that's that's overblown as far as that but like I said it's a move you guys had to make he was a crappy coach it was a horrible hire from the get-go he ruined now two franchises in two chances you know you go to go to Denver he gets rid of Jay Cutler you know get rid of Brandon Marshall goes H ruins that whole offense we can bring T Tim TBO in now he gets rid of Derek Carr the the leading you know passor in Raiders history to bring Jimmy G in he's just a bad coach he doesn't know what the hell he's doing let's get let's get let's get into the um the injy reports though here let's just start talk about the game itself here

so see injury report there goes that wambulance there the wambulance is going off

everywhere Giants first we got up here so Tyrod Taylor has obviously the rib injury Darren Waller has the hamstring issue so both of those guys have already been called out for the game overall so the big issue like I said is waller for me these are obviously our top Target there in the passing game so far this season he's obviously a former Raider as well so it be nice to see him go against his former team there uh unfortunately not going to happen saquon Barkley still Limited in practice the last two days here with his ankle injury obviously he's been playing through with the last couple weeks I don't to see it being a problem they just don't want to risk him aggravating it it sounds like uh Graham gó that's the fun one there obviously he missed a couple of kicks last week including one that would have probably sealed the win for us um left knee is his issue keep in mind guys I know he may kick with the right but keep in mind that means what happens when you're kicking you're putting all your weight on your left knee left knee that kind of why here so obviously we already talked about the fact that they've already said he needs offseason surgery well it's interesting because they came out today that guess who they had in the timx stadium there for the practice today a few kickers to try out so this looks like Graham GNA might be getting shut down depending on you know a couple of variables that obviously we don't have knowledge of yet Robbie Gold Mason Crosby Randy bulock and Matthew Wright all brought in here you're talking about those first three names you're talking about some Classics like you're talking like bring back Madden 04 like this is like this is guy been playing in the league for for it seems like decades there so glad KN injury or no yeah he's been on their report the last couple weeks yeah but they didn't say what it was no yeah they said they they never SP testify exactly what just that he's going to have's a KN injury and that he's going to need surgery at the end of the year yeah that's but the way he's missing kicks make it the end of the year not to mention the fact that we're not going to go anywhere so therefore let him heal up let it get back for next you know let him get back for next year let's get it going um then obviously the next on we got Evan Neil ankle entry limited practice the last two weeks Andrew Thomas also still limited practice the last two uh two days as well with the hamstring those two two guys there D and as Point Blank about him said they have an opportunity to play from what I heard from Pat Traina today she said that EV Neil is more than likely to play but she didn't know otherwise yeah yeah yeah I mean to me it's almost like I almost don't want him to play I I still wonder if the offensive line is better without him the way he's been playing Tyreek Phil Ste in done better I feel like I hate to say but he has yeah yeah they definitely have to go for it but I mean what I just saw for the injury report right now I mean they have it a limited practice and some that have it a full practice but the only bigger test right now for the Raiders versus Giants I mean it all depends for the defense or the offense because I just saw for the offense they're getting b a lot of more because after the interception of emic Robertson and of course Mass Crosby closing out the game I mean the offense is getting b a lot of more and then get like a great chemistry but the only issue that we got right now is the is the offense right now because they just start to believe in out identity and with Josh McDaniels I mean it's not a good it's not a good sign right now but it seem this is GNA be like a really huge test to to see where they got it and I mean there's going to be like at a Make It or Break It for everything could happen I mean offense has been the issue for both teams though and the next going to be Dan ex but Daniel Jones is coming back this week they've already said that as much he's been a full participant the last two weeks so we'll see what happens there W Del Robinson has his knee injury limited participant the last two days there he'll should be good to go Kavon Tibido back issue he's been Limited in practice the last two days again should be good to go there Dexter lawren is on the injury report but that's only because he had a rest day today that's normal that's no issue let's go real quick the Raiders injuries as well because you guys got a couple injuries there the first one is Daniel Carlson the kicker has a right groin issue it says which is weird I thought it was just a groin issue like you have a right issue right right and left groin it's one groin isn't it my I'm not understanding this K yes yes I'm saying the multiple groins I'm not a medical expert I don't know I don't know uh he's like that three boobed woman over in what's that or schweger movie Total Recall Total Recall there we go recing he was limited in practice last week missed a couple practices even though play through it on Monday against the Lions so that tells you that he probably will do the same again um you know you also got uh Max Crosby has a knee and ankle injury he's been nursing so he's Limited in practice the last couple of days there as well um but he's been dealing with those injuries I fully expect he should be good to go there um you got Divine Diablo the linebacker ankle injury did not practice the first too there at that point um you know he's been practi was consistent all for basic last week where he missed all the practice and missed the game as well on Monday so we probably won't be seeing him play overall there uh Nate Hobbs ankle injury limited participant in the practice the last couple of days there as well he did manage to play last week and he was out the last four weeks before that so I think they're just trying to keep him healthy and bring him back slowly so I fully expect that we're going to see him there in this game here um let's see you guys Jacob Johnson the fullback concussion did not practice along with linebacker Luke Masson who also didn't practice the last two days both them after a concussion they suffered on Monday um now Rob and I talked about this before whenever there's a concussion typically they miss a game that's just the way that the NFL is becoming now because they don't want that bad publicity so we'll have to see what happens uh theer mford Jr the offensive tackle neck injury also did not practice here the first two uh practices this week here um so we'll have to see what happens there but the fact that he's not practicing all is not usually a very good sign uh Robert Spain hand injury did not practice on Wednesday limited participant on Thursday so that's for the Raiders side of least says Hey things are progressing and hopefully you'll be seeing him at that point um he's a guy that you will definitely if you're on the field trust me you'll be hearing his name at that point if he's on the field he's he's the leading tackler so far this season all righty now we get to the boring injury report stuff I know it's boring guys we got to go through it so you know who's going to be playing who's not going to be playing we got to do it we got to do we got to do it guess what it's now time to talk about when the Giants are on offense and everybody loves the offense stuff and then Raphael what's up we go Raphael's got s he's got his hand up it's like we're in third grade yeah I mean when it comes to the case of Robert Spain is being like a glue for the Raiders defense it all depends for the significant part of the defensive over because he has deliberate and the best ability and durity and ability there are the biggest reasons that I want to design him I mean he's been playing like a the single defensive play to the the games and that was like the pass last season in the middle of linebacker several games I mean he can play true and true and he's a true professional really thought smart he cares a about like that and he was bed as the captain so quickly I mean that not everyone who can relate as SP in some way that shape of the for he can talk to anybody and he communicates with the secondary and special teams and he Tes like everything to control and wants done it right he understands that winning the stake and he's very smart because there's a lot of confidence under the Lineback gar room between Deon Diablo and Robert pain I mean at the the first years if you see like Deon was really nervous but it comes to the position line Baker but it takes a lot of time to get involved with the defense the secondary do you understand about the situation of football I mean there's a lot of confidence and they really set for the table of a defense and between mass Crosby right now I gotta tell you it's not Jimmy garolo it's not Deonte Adams it's not Josh Jacobs Mass Crosby is the leader the defines of the the defines of the Raiders I mean M Crosby he defines as a great leader of men because not only he proves as a defensive at rusher but he puts all his hard right now he was BN to this and if you see like the performance at a defensive rusher defensive Edge I mean mass cros is a dog and he always take like the bigger pass bigger test and of course biggest competition and he will scare to everyone in the competition even the Kansas City te will scare of M Crosby because he understand about the footw and he plays with a lot of soul intensity and aggression because he puts a lot of mentality whether it comes to the field oh yeah yeah but he's a great player I mean especially when you guys don't have anybody toist that does pass rush he still gets it done so let's let's talk a little more about this defense here we're starting to talk now about when the Giants are on

offense let's talk about the office of the ball and the big topic obviously mostly that Raider defense here so the big thing is and Raphael you talked about it a minute ago they're doing horrible at tackling they're they're not a very good defense overall so you know I want look at when I did a little research on on the Raiders this week what have what's been killing him has it been the pass has it been the run you know typically you look at most teams they can't stop one of the two and the other team just keeps beating the crap out them that way basically so you look at them against the pass they're giving up a 6905 completion percentage that's 25th in the NFL that's pretty damn bad you're almost 70% passes are getting completed now they're also bad though at sacking the quarterback they're only sacking on 5.9 7% of the passing attempts which is 23rd but the weird thing is they're giving up 197 passing yards per game that's actually ninth best in the NFL so what's that show everybody they're not attacking them through the air even though they can I mean typically right now for the defense I mean you can make it like at the seven and thises it g to happen whether it comes to what pain the most the about it um for the defense right now I mean crazy they just have like a they just have like a great defense right now because they're all summarized in one play because I know we had turbo tackling performance and over embarassing for the r f b against it's gonna be like a long dep part in flight but I think it's it's gonna have B the G shut it down but the saints that again pass a 50 yard line of they just lost to the Jeb Saturday Co team and they just lost the W Co deal the six right now I mean if the defense they have no assistant interior push that's what they needed for then tackl is been terrible and they need to bring it out from the blades that's what going to do three things that we need to take care about it and we had to do the poor about it for the lion Baker room the Special Teams and but it comes to the offense and during all this last games and we have no rhythm we had no getting round that the G Going we always talking about the running the passing game where the passing game with Josh Jas and with the play calling of Josh Martinez it didn't work but they need like to take to L shots the downfield and they just wave for they offense and a little bit we on defense here but the thing that the thing that I'm getting at though is it's it's a little weird to me that they're giving up a very high percentage they're not sacking the quarterback and yet teams aren't attacking them through the air because if you're giving up that kind of completion percentage you're only averaging less than 200 yards passing against you per week that tells me you're not passing the ball very much against them you know they do have some pretty big names obviously in the secondary obviously Marcus Peters who everybody remembers from his days with the Chiefs and and and the Ravens there um you know was Top Flight receiver I said Top Flight Corner not quite sure where he's a Top Flight Corner anymore but he's he's got the pedigree he's got the experience he's got that sage and wisdom there that that Sensei Kos kind of mentality at that point where we can help out the young guys there in the secondary um obviously safety Mar Marcus EPS is the guy that Giants fans remember very well as well spent years with the the Philadelphia Eagles there um so we're pretty familiar with him and as you mentioned Max Crosby talking about as far as sack percentage so max Crosby has six and a half sacks on the season there's not a single player in the Raiders that has more than one besides him yeah then speaking about for the Marcus Peters he just made like a great play against the Detroit Lions where he's running it out and they just made like a mistake for the Detroit Lions but but I just saw the marus Peters because before to that game against Detroit allons he wasn't involved so many good for the defense along with John Jenkins malol Coons and of course Marcus SS but I think it's gonna happen like if they're G to put a lot of good heart on this one because they just saw the Marcus Peters are running out in scoring for the touchdown but I think that's not good enough to see how the defense is going to improve about it and for my reason about theor for the quarterback the most incredible task to go for the quarterback is must feed as a wide receivers the running back and of course for the defense and and I mean after the game for the drron Lions I mean they actually didn't get involv it but it's not very good enough to involve a lot of more because they need to play a lot of aggression but the play colors and Josh Martinez they just get in like very softly and they just need to like at a more Boulder yeah but on the defense I don't think they're going to do much difference on the on the play calling because you still got Patrick Graham there uh you still got you know um you still got obviously Antonio Pierce now being upgraded to being the head coach but I don't think he's going to go ahead and stop basically Patrick gramp from doing whatever he wants to do on defense so I don't see much changing there overall now the big issue you guys are having on defense there over in Las Vegas is the run though and this is why I think people aren't passing that often on them so they're giving up 140.6 rushing yards per game which is 30th in the NFL and also giving up four and a half yards per carry which is 26 so I think the big thing is that teams are just running the ball down the Raiders throat right now which to me is a little crazy because it's like you can pass in this team I don't I don't see why people aren't doing it it's a little weird I mean the only I can think of is it's just because of the fact that they've got a lead and they're just like gonna run the clock down basically I mean that that's that's a possibility but you also have to remember as much as it hurts me to say this oh no talk about Raiders are ranked 31 in the offense yeah yeah you know who's at 32 Giants the Giants this is GNA be a very very old school but you also have to remember how many injuries we had in the offense how much switches we had to go around so is the Giants offense better than the Raiders defense I mean uh offense I'm sorry I meant to say their offense versus off but here's the thing with that and we're we're in a get of the offense here in a minute here but it's like you don't even know because you have no clue what they're going to call the big question is you first hit it there with is their defense as bad as they've been on defense is their defense better or worse than New York Giants offense and I think that's another variable as well because especially if we get these tackles back and Neil and Thomas DJ's back as well and obviously he saw what this offense has done without him and I think he's going to have a little bit of a little pep in his step try to prove something here so yeah I I we don't know either side there's so many question marks in this game as far as what to expect and what to see I really think it's crazy the biggest benef uh the biggest X Factor in the Giants offense versus the Raiders defense is Max Crosby you're going to see a lot of runs from Barkley because they're like you said they're averaging what 140 yards per game yeah Barkley right now is top tier BR he's still injured who's injured he's still B off this injury he's still one of the top tier running backs in this league DJ when healthy is one of the top five running backs they should have a lot of design plays with these guys in the backfield set up play action later down the game which would be the difference in the game because you have to figure out how to stop Crosby from getting to that back fields and preventing us from running and venting us uh preventing us from passing yeah I I think the Raiders can have a lot of trouble stopping us on offense and I don't mean like we're going to be a juggernaut don't get me wrong we'll this is a probably not be a Jugger on offense all year long but I do think that this defense is bad enough that the Giants could put up 20 25 points up that kind of thing and it wouldn't be out of this you know out of the realm of possibilities which is crazy for a team averaging what like 10 points a game but still it's it's definitely something that's not out of the realm of possibility there yeah I mean this Raiders defense is a few players away from being a top tier defense oh yeah we can say about every team I mean the Giants offense is just a few players away from being get to I'm saying just needs a quarterback a Top Flight receiver another tackle we already talked about they're averaging less than 200 yards a game through the air right no one's throwing against them yeah 100% why aren't they throwing against them because they keep running instead they're getting the clock down because they're winning right so then you got Crosby who's been a great p rusher and he's been great you know stopping the ball up front is it just max Crosby's name sound like a singer from the 70s it does you know he should have two xes behind it and you would be like more like a rock star you know what I'm saying like one of on defense so let's go over real quick the Raiders the Raiders offense here got to start off with a running game because that's the biggest like what the Yeah moment basically when you look at this Raiders team here so Jacobs yeah the Raiders are literally the worst rushing team in the entire NFL now let that sink in for a minute Josh Jacobs the yardage leader in the NFL last year is still there he's still the starting running back they are the worst rushing team in the entire NFL they're averaging 3.1 yards per carry and 70 rushing yards per game both of them ranked absolutely last 32nd in the NFL but what's crazy is they also don't run the ball very much either they're only running the ball 22 and a half times per game which is partly why they have only 70 yards uh which was ranked 28th in the NFL so it makes you wonder is Josh Jacobs just not getting a chance to get into rhythm is he one of those backs Raphael you know you watch him on a regular basis is he one of those backs that needs to get into Rhythm and basically we're not giving him the chance to get into a Rhythm by letting him rush the ball you know 15 times instead of 25 times or whatever yeah that's exactly because we as will that as no offensive a play caller because they just making making less predictable I mean with Deonte Adams is still like a great receiver and Hunter rord they might gave it like a back to the midst Jacob is playing better and there's nothing changed to the defense including Crosby but the vibe it Chang like make this unpredictable because it's like a different energy about for the defense but I really thought it's going to happen um they're backing forth for the decision and they hope that they start to improve it I mean it's not really good for it to go to the rock bottom and stay pay like a free agency and losing the culture I mean it could be like at a tough choice a tough choice because they have they have a great difference but they still struggling at all just make it like a like a go for the enity I mean it I'm very sure had to go for it doesn't play anything but how is it the score for the playoff game when it comes to the quarterback through eight times I mean it could have be talking about for the offense and the defense it's like a argu because that if they got the simple Philosophy for the Raiders I mean they're just trying to running up for the game for Josh Jacobs but sometimes it get it slip away yeah but I mean they got to give him a chance to get into Rhythm they gota give him a chance to it's crazy I mean so great now he's at 133 carries 48 yards and three touchdowns in the season okay projected Rob Rob loves when I do this projected that the season were to were to continue at this pace 283 carries 867 yards and six touchdowns now last year he had 340 carries 1653 yards and 12 touchdowns so almost twice the output on base one and a half times not even one and a half times that fo like one and one like 80% of the carries basically it's it's it's just crazy the difference like a night and day he went from 4.9 yards per carry last year to just 3.1 this year that's almost two yards a carry difference that's insanely different yeah they just pull it out brought the one score right now but uh they just save it over the they just save it in the s and they just had to steal the lead but uh I just really thought that he about to the drop to 31 points or this week but I think that the GI Bops like 17 points wor more than 112 yards I mean they could have happen with three sacks and it could happen everyone at the defense at the offense I mean if they gotta have might the same thing with the go for the very conservative and they have to play solid good enough team right now I mean that that's an option for for drafted right now but it seems that but they seem that the most of the time they had to the support for they the win constantly but I think but I think they had struggling enough to get decision should be made it the traditional or calling but I think but I think it's gonna happen with the defense because it must to play like much aggression and not to the be wasted at all yeah but it's it's just I I I can't remember man I honestly I cannot remember a player going down that quickly from year to year with no health issues or anything to cause for it I mean you expect it when it's like I'm I I got hurt I'm battling through were injuries and like that it's just crazy so you know listen I I'll roof for the guy after this game but hopefully he continues for this game just say it that way um so we talked about they're not throwing they they're not running the ball very often so obviously if they're not running the ball very often what does that mean they're doing passing the ball very often so yeah and they really are insanely passing the ball at a high percentage here so they're passing uh on 61.21 per of plays on offense that is n sorry sixth in the NFL only five teams are passing at a higher frequency than the Raiders right now but they haven't been throwing for any success Ro you got say there's probably five better quarterbacks could throw the ball down the field because that's not what the Raiders have been doing this is all of them just being being out deep in games and then trying to come back basic is what it balls down to well that and you got Jimmy garoo who was your you know act starter who is known for not throwing the ball down the field like he yeah if it's a 10 yard pass like that's a deep pass for him at this and that's what they've been doing it's a lot of shorter passes it really has been but even the percentages and everything things so their completion percentage of the season for all the quarterbacks combined keep in mind theyve had three people play quarterback for the Raiders so far this season um 63.7 4 22nd in the NFL there's 6.1 yards per pass which is 23rd in the NFL and they're only getting 198.000 yards per game which is 22nd not good numbers guys um so the passing those also led to some extremely bad plays as well the the Raiders lead the NFL lead the NFL with 4.96% of their passes being picked off that's not good it's not just they're throwing the ball a lot and that's why they have picks it's because they're getting picked at a high percentage um their quarterbacks are also being sacked at 7.75% of pass attempts as well which is 22nd in the NFL so yeah offensive line has been not the most consistent and now now we've talked about it that the issues they had with the quarterback position and that led to some of the issues they had with the dismissal of Josh M McDaniels and all now they're going to Aiden oconnell the rookie quarterback to be their starting quarterback this week instead of going with Jimmy J Who's fully healthy ready to go so how healthy is he though he's never fully healthy it's Jimmy G okay who knows he trips and falls at a local brothel and gets hurt out and all that happens yeah he ties his shoes spr Springs the finger yep yeah he actually holds the record for most times being hurt while signing [Laughter] contracts hand I wanted a ballpoint pen not one of those pointy ones that I can staff myself with u so aan oconnell so far he's got he's been in two games his one Lone Start was against the Chargers now keep in mind Chargers are not a very good defense overall this year um went 24 of 39 for 238 yards one interception he also played the second half at the Bears game there a couple weeks ago went 10 of 13 for 75 yards one touchdown and one interception so obviously you got some people up there in the the ownership group and up higher up in in this you know team that really have some faith in him because they wanted him to play not have you know Brian Hoyer play when he started a couple G to go against the Bears and again it's a late round pick I don't know what you're expecting Elite Round quarterback um you know for every Tom Brady there's you know 10,000 guys that are out of the league within a couple years that position so you know I don't know if they were drinking the Brady Kool they had some Patriot guys in their in the in the building for a while but I mean this is what the this is what the Raiders should have said when they were signing grappolo is that when they got rid of the car they knew what they had in the car there's a reason why garoo has been around the league everyone knows what you got him yep you guys pretty much traded off mocy for mocy but Le knew you had a Carr and he was a leader yeah and he was a leader Carr as as much as he has some efficiencies in his game Carr was the Undisputed leader of that team there was no doubt about that there was nobody acting up they were had a respect for him and I think that's why this season things are starting to come apart them is because Carr is not there to be that glue to keep that team together anymore Jimmy G is not that guy he doesn't have that abilities so you know CP me if I'm wrong Raphael you watch a lot more Raiders than I do here obviously that's that's what I think is going on yeah because know for that reason of Jimmy grappolo then I really understand that he was like at a 100% healthy but I really thought that it's not going to work in it because once we just get rid of Derek caram me after nine years I mean it we just going to move on to see for the quarterback I mean there is some options that are the go before taking over for a new quarterback there is some Nots between Becka Mayfield Aaron Rogers but but but the owner Mark Davis and the coach jge mat they say let's make it like a quarterback and makes like very cheaper and they just choose Jimmy garoo but I really understood that they could to make it at 100% healthy but I really that it's it's not going to work everything because the full of glass and he always like he's not throwing perfectly and how the heck is not g to feed with the wide receiver and the running back just like a FR out just like this I mean it's not gonna work it and we just need like at the quarterback who needs a lot of more pressure about that ball and throwing deep throwing deep and of course getting Fe with the right receiver and the and the running back so after we're just getting rid of Derek Car which is from the New Orleans SS and which just got benched for Jimmy garola I think it's G the opportunity to make it a see the rookie get into the action we just we just had in on the conter for Purdue and I mean this is get like the best opportunity to get involved with this with this young Prospect to get likeed inob a lot of more things and you know hoping for Drew Brees 2.0 from Pur yeah one more boiler maker one more boiler maker to get it done yeah and everybody thought that an going to be like a Derek C 2.0 but I don't see like there a reason at all because he was he was persistently on the ball he's really fast but I don't see that the comparation either between the Derek cter and either the car because I didn't see it like a comparation but it don't Mak any sense at all I see him as a potential backup in this league and that's it exactly I don't think he has that drive to drive it down the field like you're talking about and all but we're going to find out he's going to get a shot so let's talk about the guys he's going to have a chance to throw to this week here because you guys do have some good players on on offense specifically at the wide receiver position there Devonte Adams obviously is still the star of the offense overall um you know he's a guy that you know has been a little vocal lately like he said he's little upset about his play action if you will well he keep in mind he's upset because he's upset of what happened overall on this team because he came here for one reason to play with Derek Carr he want to play with his buddy he goes there one year his buddy's gone and now he's basically stuck in Las Vegas Purgatory basically so on the season 47 catches 539 yards three touchdowns see he's on Pace for 100 catches 1145 yards six touchdowns damn good season but that's not a typical Devonte Adams season Devonte Adams season is a 12300 season so he's he's definitely on a little down tick this year um jacobe Meyers the picked pick up they got from the uh the New England Patriots who Rob and I basically were talking about the Giants should get him should get him should get him should get him and I still think he would have been a better pickup than Derek Darren Waller I'll still say that um he's on the season 38 catches 494 yards five touchdowns that puts him on Pace for 81 catches 859 yards and 11 touchdowns not bad as a second wide receiver on the team that's not putting up a lot of anything basy on offense that's not too shabby um you know next up you guys are probably expecting me to talk about H Hunter refo him being the third leading receiver on this team but nope Hunter rro has disappeared basically off the Raiders Nation forecast I'm not sure what's going on there basically seems like ever since McDaniels got there he's been kind of slowly but surely been taken out he's got 92 yards so far on the season only has 422 yards in the 18 games he played under Josh McDaniels so I think about 18 games about a whole season there just just one extra game so had a season he put him at 400 games sorry 400 yards this is the guy a lot of games this is a guy 1,038 yards the year prior to Josh McDaniel's coming so you have to wonder now with the new offensive scheme new offensive coordinator new offense everything at that point because they're going to make some changes here just Hunter rro become a guy that all of a sudden gets into the mix at that point because he probably should be brought into mix he's a quality player he's a slot receiver he's a guy who does those tough yards for you on slot you know um you know Crossing routes from the slot um gets that you know the third and three catch that you need that's what he does this is what this guy is there for and why you don't utilize a talent like that is just beyond me yeah that's exctly F the the case of HTO rro I mean it's it kind of like because he had only five catches but but it seems that hopefully he going to be freed the last but it seems that it seems if for the wide receiver I mean I was worryed about because they really thought they're gonna be traded on October 31st but I mean they good must had to discuss for the deadline because they GNA use her for the for the Saints or the Patriots because he just used to call open and they can handing it up and I mean it's still because he had lasted them and now immedately start to contribut it again I mean that despite for all this in competition rro has been put like showcasing how truly awful the com it was because he was truly everything I mean hun is GNA wait for a trade call for about weeks but it doesn't appear for like the de man it because they just had a receive like the calls and everything and I was just like uh it's something that I was so it was something that like was not getting Bol this one this something that I was it got the same everything but I was like I I was green both the answer about that but it's it seems that it it could be like anything could happen because it it stuck it in the M because it's just traed for the right receiver that it really works out but he needs tool a lot more if it comes to the wide receiver yeah I mean they traded for the one in in uh I should said tra signed the two and and um Devonte Adams and jacobe Meers and got them backtack years and it's just kind of push onter ref further on down that list there at that point as being now number three kind of receiver but they've really focused on Myers and Adams and that's it I mean even if you look at the tight ends at that point you got two good tight ends um you got Austin Hooper you got Michael Meyer so Meyer obviously the young um tight end coming out of Notre Dame considered by many to be the best tight end coming out of this draft class and Austin Hooper who has been you know basically around for almost 10 years now and has been a very good tight end for Atlanta for Cleveland um had an okay year last year with Tennessee and now goes to the Raiders and the Raiders just are not using either one of those tight ends they got 23 catches on the year combined for both of those and yeah that's combined that's not that's not each combined so you're talking about they have one or two catches each a game and that's it that's that's a that's like that's like malpractice to not use those guys I mean Austin Hooper I mean you can say Meer I don't know what you got yet because he's a rookie but you know Austin Hooper had 444 yards last year with the with the Titans averaged about 400 you know 400 yards with the with with the Cleveland Browns before that in his Heyday with the Falcons he had 787 yard 660 526 I mean this is a guy that's a proven weapon in the NFL again I'm not saying he's the second coming of uh you know Travis Kelce and he's about to go ahead and you know start start getting with the you know Taylor Swift anytime soon but he's still a legit NFL and a legit passing threat in this league and Michael like I said was the guy that we all thought was going to be coming out I still think he can be at that point I just got to use him right I wonder if that's any part of the differen is getting these other weapons used because we talked about differences in this offense you know you got two guys basically getting the ball primarily and that's it you got tight ends not being used at all you got a former thousand yard receiver from just a couple years ago not being used at all the only ones they want to use in the passing game for some reason is Adams and Myers and weirdly enough Josh Jacobs who's got 28 catches 242 yards so he's on Pace for 60 catches and 514 yards receiving on the year he's never gotten over 400 in a season so they're utilizing him at a rate like they've never used him in the passing game before yeah I mean they're trying to use I guess they they were trying to use graa to his strengths short passes short passes short has no strengths except for his IP passes at the strip why Vegas why I went to Vegas the free sex at the VIP at the Bunny

sidetracked uh like I said I wonder I really think the passing game is where to see a lot of the big difference in this with with this new offensive coordinator now having the new quarter newish quarterbacks he wasn't the rosters wasn't playing you know I think you're to see a lot more of spreading the ball out I think you're to see some of these tight ends potentially get to the mix at that point which is bad news for the Giants we can never cover tight ends worth anything it's been one of our worst things ever uh I think you'll see Hunter rro get back into the into the scheme of things as well because these are all talents not being used not being used at all and you may be right but once again but it may just be a lunatic you're looking for probably not turn off the lights I'm just saying this this Billy Joe here now it's okay it's okay this offensive coordinator was what the QB coach and what was QB doing with him as QB coach we don't know well we don't know what he was doing that's part of the thing because keep in mind he had to listen to his boss the offensive coordinat has to listen to his boss the head coach yes and once's again to like a third degree Kevin Bacon you gota realize when you're a positional coach you don't get to make the calls you're told what to do I hear you but you work with the the quarterbacks and at the same time it's like he's never called offensive plays for so like what does he have to go off of I I think honestly you have to kind of stick to the Playbook you have at this point you're to put a couple plays that are different than your own you're going to incorporate in slowly but surely but for the most part it'll be the same offense but you can still use the same play in different ways I didn't mean rhyme there just happened oh he's just a poet I didn't even know it oh snap oh hip hop apotamus by lyrics or bottomless

yeah but I mean that's what I think is going to see you're going to see the same exact plays you're going to see them run a little different you're going to see them say Hey listen I watch film I've noticed hey tight ends are open in the flat when this we call this play we maybe we need to look at doing that more often hey I noticed when when we're got this this ball over here we're looking for D Devonte Adams because he's our deep threat but in the you know in the hook route right beneath them there's H to run for wide open on a regular basis he's going to see these things I guarantee you in point it out because I can't imagine you have that many idiots in the room that aren't going to go wait a minute we have talent not using that's an issue big issue all right ref yep I mean they could have happened like this one but I really thought this this gonna happen in so many ways because if you understand about the football because it's gonna be like a gonna like get decided for the point at the point of break but it happens like everything has to go for the defense and the offense because if you look at it had to go for the coach and to see that hey what's going to not happening like this one he really understand that he he really had to for it but it's kind of like a okay so let's get it to do it about it and they just sort of putting off all this the opportunity to make it and let's just make it happen I mean whether it comes to the defense and the offense you need to play a lot of intensity and whether it comes to the right receivers I mean there's so much power on the offense and the defense but it became it's just like a click it just like the Click and because we just had we just Haven to go for the defense because we're just waiting like at the 20 years to see the miracle but right now it is the opportunity to perfect time to to see who's getting Bol for the defense and they're gonna happen like in so many questions that they getting used to it and it's something that I was very un restrictable but I think it's the time to have to go for it at the defense at the office because if they're going to learn to do something go for it go for it because if you practice football if you practic a lot of things to the sports you had to go for the mentality because if you had to go to mentality to everything could go through and through then you got it yep all right let's give us some final thoughts here in the game as we kind of start wrapping things up a little bit

here here so first thought I got written down here is take advantage of turnovers which sounds like a very common sense thing take advantage of turnovers of course you should do that but the Raiders are averaging two giveaways per game which is 30th in the NFL and they're averaging one takeaway per game their turnover margin is is the 31st worst in the NFL and a lot of that obviously is the interceptions we already talked about that the Giants obviously have trouble scoring they're like the nerd of prom sitting in the back corner with this punch bowl yeah yeah so at this point we got to go ahead and and take advantage of those moments that we get that chance and score I don't mean three points I mean seven points get in the damn End Zone score some touchdowns end this game early on I mean again it sounds like common sense but this is one of those games that you should expect some turnovers because that's what the Raiders have been doing and you got a Young quarterback who you know wink is going a rookie quarterback wi Martin is like licking his chops this whole week I guarantee it because he just he's gonna love the idea he's going against a guy that is again a mid round rookie quarterback this is not like a Top Flight quarterback you're not facing a Bryce young or a CJ strad you got a you know a mid-grade quarterback there in this draft um yeah the other key again I we talked about it here earlier but again expect the unexpected with this coaching change teams don't make changes to keep things in status quo if the Raiders wanted to keep things the way they were they would have kept Josh

McDaniels yeah that could have happened because right now we're just worry about them to the office and the defense but with the new coach and the new general manager I mean those things are going to happen at the raer nation and we need to stay focused 100% healthy and I've been trying to tell for everybody at the live stream that end the Conor should be started the quarterback not Brian haer or Jimmy Garoppolo because Jimmy gpp is still getting jured and all these issues that they got right now and Brian haer he doesn't make anything sense because he doesn't draw that up but I mean it's not good enough it's not not good let's call what it is Brian hoyer's been a a career backup for years you're a rebuilding he was waiting he was waiting for to get this opportunity but I think this the opportunity is be like so much wasted but I think the an con should be like a really interesting combination when it comes to the trolls and it because feeded out for the wide receiver and everything I mean that could happen that could happen at all yep now another thought I had is who will step up up with Darren Waller out Darren Waller has been the leading receiver on the New York Giants as much as he's been somewhat of a disappointment he hasn't you know been horrible though some people make it seem like he's just not made a huge effect necessarily in some of the games but now with him out who's the guy who's the guy the Giants at the number one threat and I'm telling you I am hoping that while the Giants are in Las Vegas they're staying at the hayatt because Jaylen hayatt is somebody I want to see take over this place here because Daniel Jones we' talked forever about one of the best things about him has been throwing the Deep rout it's been ever since he's come in the NFL he's thr a very good deep ball well guess who likes going for the Deep ball Jaylen hayatt so one thing he is is a freaking speed demon and you're going against a team that tends to give up a lot of passing issues you know a lot of lot of you know giving up the high percentage you know giving up issues overall in the passing defense there go for it you know do sequan sequan H it sequan sequan h it that's what you have to do do it make the defense heat up a little bit then just Chuck that ball down the field I want to see ha be the guy to step it up yeah I would like that but I I think and I said earlier I think wand's the guy this week I think he'll be the volume guy that's for sure yeah I think he's going to be the guy that's GNA make some of the plays and I think he's going to be part of this Giants win yeah now the other question I have this my last thought here it's more of a question than I thought really though how does Daniel Jones look coming back from his neck injury
