welcome to two giant Goosebumps a New York Giant podcast are you a goofball that loves Giant football if so sit back and relax as we talk about the team that both excite and frustrates us so much and now and now here are your goofball hosts Drew and Rob welcome fell goofballs two giant goofballs a New York Giants podcast I am Drew joined as always bye let's get the show on the road we are still on the road the Giants are still on the west coast even they're not even going back to New York for a while there it makes no sense they're going to turn they turn around it's a Thursday turning upward going up I whatever the hell goes through California five or one one I think it's rule one I don't know we're gonna say just first there we go 66. uh so before we get into all the uh the game action here from week two we do have to go ahead and give you guys the latest injury news here uh kind of said that we were worried about yesterday saquon Barkley obviously got hurt towards the end of the game there uh against the Cardinals and looks like he kind of got a bent over twisted up a little bit there so that the MRI is confirmed it's an ankle sprain he has which is actually kind of one of the better case scenarios considering you know the possible injuries you can have down there um but he is going to be out now for the next three weeks they're saying that's according to Adam scheffner today on Twitter so yeah that's uh begs a few questions here begs a few questions so you know first off we keep talking about you know is saquon Barkley injury Pro we talked about that all off season long well this did not help to his case no and another said Barclays like people that are like ah there it goes hey bro it gets hurt you guys talk trash about him no p is just injury prone guys it is what it is I've been saying that forever about him um well I mean now this is what fifth year sixth year and he's played three out of the six years injured yeah I mean if you if you think let's let's I'm gonna look it up even real quick because I don't have that in front of me at this exact moment just to verify that we're giving accurate information out here so his rookie year obviously he was healthy his sophomore year that he played 13 games had the injury towards the end of the season there Oni played in two games obviously in 2020 13 games at 21 and that was the one where he just you know didn't even look healthy when he was even playing then had his healthy year last year and now he's going to go ahead and Miss at least three games with this injury so you're talking that's two healthy seasons and this is his sixth year yep yeah oh that's not a good ratio folks that's not a good ratio of us you want to know why he didn't want to get he we wouldn't give him top dollar this off-season

and it's not a Barclay issue it's a position issue there's most running backs will get injured over time that's that's life at the position you're getting really you're really asked to steamroll into you know a pile of 350 pound fatties like that's what's gonna happen it's cold what it is yeah I mean some of those some of those guys are lean let's let's get aggressive there so you know I put it out there on her Facebook and her Twitter uh about you know this is now a Matt breida Revenge game because Matt Brady did play the first three seasons obviously for the 49ers so he gets a chance to play against his old you know uh old Squad there and people are pretty quick to say hey what about uh you know we did draft someone there what about Eric Gray okay guys I expect to see a lot of Matt Breda I expect to see Gary Brightwell running the ball before I expect to see Eric gray this is the reason why we have the second string running back yeah and Brett he is the best of the bunch there by far I mean Eric gray is not did not impress in the preseason when he had a chance he did not you know so I don't think you're gonna see because I think if that was the case they would kept him on more often but you're talking about a guy that when he was with the 49ers had 1400 plus yards in two seasons not per season for the records but he's shown some legitimate ability whereas Eric gray just has not impressed at least middle I can't say for what he's you know what he's done for the the New York Giants to know how they feel about him overall but you know the guy overall hasn't even carried the ball once in a regular season game yet we played two weeks now if they really thought he was something he would have had his Chance by now you know so I don't know maybe I'm just a cynic and we all know I am at certain times I know it sounds crazy but to me it's Matt Breda with a little dose of Gary Brightwell and you'll probably see a decent amount of Daniel Jones running place that are mortified design than him running for his life like you've seen a lot the first two weeks and I think that's how the running game is going to go but it's an interesting thing because you know we've talked about an off season what are the Giants without saquon Barkley what are the Giants without him can he deal without him is he that important to the offense we're going to find out the next couple weeks guys I mean also next week's probably at the fairs whoa yeah we got the 40 times you get the Seahawks and you got the Dolphins teams so I mean our best our best chance uh at a game is probably the Seahawks who have not looked good no not defense no yeah but imagine if the Giants do well this next three weeks in your Sequon and you go to Joe Shane at the end of the year say honey I need a ton of money

that doesn't really help your case that doesn't really help your case I'm just saying you know we'll have to see what happens to him and you know obviously you know we're giant fans we hope for the best firm we hope a speedy recovery we hoping to go back in the field and kick some ass there but you know it's not like he has produced a ton the first two weeks either per se no you know I mean the stats 49 carries 114 yards

two weeks I mean also that's week one they kind of yeah they cry in the band they run week one and just kind of like how many yards do you have a band of the playing yeah

uh what do you have like three yards week one I'm just saying but he's still okay if we go to the game block I'm gonna go to the game Vlog and I'm making me go to game logs and everything here ah so let's see here first game he had uh 12 yards okay receiving sorry 51 yards on 12 carries he has 63 yards and 17 carries yesterday so he's still averaging below four yards a game a four is a carry right now and he's not he's averaging he's on Pace to do like 900 yards for the season basically I mean it's not sick one-esque so um no like I said I I think it's going to be interesting I really do and you know again I don't I'm not anti-sake one I know this is going to kind of come out and sound like that I'm not anti-sake one I want I want all the success for saquon because he's a New York Giant but I just think this is going to be a very interesting chance for us to see how important he really is this offense because if the offense can keep rolling like they did in the second half of the Cardinals game without him

it's not a good look for him when he goes for money that's all I'm saying not a good look so and if Matt Breda plays just as well as he you know has maybe he's not the same all-around weapon because he's not but if he plays close to saquon's level you know let's see it gives us you know 60 yards carry 60 yards on on rushing the ball and you get maybe another 20 from Brightwell you know the 30 from from DJ that's still a rushing attack folks yeah so you split 110 yards yeah so we'll see what happens there guys uh but interesting to follow as things go on progress all right let's get into the NFL games here because we got a ton of games to go over a ton of stuff to go over with you guys here um obviously we're going to give you guys every game here minus the Monday night game since as we're recording this they're going on live both of them um so we gotta start off with Thursday Night Football which would be us this week but now it's it's here with us so Rob would you care to go first would you care for me to go first dealer's Choice I'll go first yeah you go for it I I have to say

you put the score on on this your notes the Eagles won Thursday night yes they did are you blocking my notes I was about to read off you know it's my notes are correct I don't know what you're talking about [ __ ] up just go back and change it

but the Eagles they if you they've really looked at like what they've done the past two weeks that defense has degressed and they've taken a step back and look at what Arizona has done on their defense hmm what's going on there but Mac Jones

damn dude Max Jones pick one 3D you're notes are all over the place Kirk Cousins would you want me to read my notes is that the problem here Kirk Cousins hold on hold on I had I had both on there so the point I was making in the show notes is Mac Jones goes out at 316 yards three touchdowns a week one now this week Kirk Cousins 364 yards four touchdowns so my point is is Philadelphia an elite defense because we've heard of all off season about how great their offense is how amazing their secondary is how tremendous their pass rush is well they've lost some guys in the pass rush there they've lost some wine backers overall they got a year older with some senior-esque Corners here they lost Hargrave they lost their coordinator they've given up almost 700 yards of passing in two games that's not good folks it's not like they're facing Patrick Mahomes and Joe burrow it's Mac Jones and Kirk Cousins now Kirk Cousins can put up some yards but Mac Jones is not usually the guy you're putting up 300 yards a week on no no not happening no so the real reason that the Eagles won this game is because they got four fumbles when you fumble the ball four times you're probably not going to win and that's what happened to the Vikings so yeah like I said just something to keep an eye on especially as a giant fan because we haven't played them yet we still got to play them twice yeah if this continues now the Eagles I believe have the Buccaneers this week so if Baker Mayfield goes off that's gonna be funny

that would be fantastic to see because that's it I'm looking it up yes that's a Monday Night Football by the way Monday Night Football Monday night night night Monday night so that'd be fun to watch Baker Mayfield going off in the Eagles all right next game

we got the Ravens 20 Ravens with 27 points against the Bengals who were the bungles there 24 points

big spot in there Charlie Jones returns a punt for a touchdown for the Bengals when the Bengals couldn't get a new offense going whatsoever uh at certain points in the game Joe burrow through interception in the end zone even the third quarter and he was seen limping around towards the end of the game that calf injury he had might not really be fully healed after all maybe that's part of why they they're having their issues uh well so Lamar Jackson of the game uh 24-33 for 237 two touchdowns added another 54 rushing yards Joe burrow 27-41 two touchdowns in the interception T Higgins got eight catches 89 yards two touchdowns obj of course giant fans are always curious what he's doing three catches 29 yards left the game with an ankle injury so hmm talk about injury prone players right there oh y'all that wanted to sign him to Big Money

just saying uh the next game we got we got those exciting Seahawks

Seahawks 37. Lions 31. Brian's uh yeah the lines looked pretty good into this game until second half uh got through his first pick in uh 383 yards attempts in the fourth I died better be that right holy crap

I apologize but yeah he was 31-31 uh to go into overtime for the teams were 31 and 31 could go into overtime not jerk off yeah no uh neither defense could stop anyone uh Gina through uh a touchdown to uh Locker for the win which boo because I Metcalf

but Gina Smith was 32 or 41 338 yards and two touchdowns your friend Goff was 28 for 35 330

323 yards three touchdowns one interception in Metcalf for six yeah he had six um catches for 75 yards I think that's still good he still got you some fantasy points not enough I must say brown six uh receptions for 102 yards yeah talk about a game with no no uh defense whatsoever um then we got the battle of the rookie quarterbacks that battle of the Rooks um Colts won 31 to beat the Texans had 20 points there uh Colt started at 14-0 and basically just never looked back from there Anthony Richardson was six of ten for 56 yards had three rushes for 35 yards two rushing touchdowns left in the second quarter uh with a concussion when he left who came in of course the porn stash himself Gardner of inshu 19 of 23 171 yards and a touchdown for gardnerman's shoe uh CJ Stroud 30 of 47 that's ballsy with her 47 throws for a rookie quarterback 384 passing yards two touchdowns also a fumble he gave up on a sack Damien Pierce who was kind of the surprise last year two bad games in a row to start the season now 15 carries 31 yards that's really bad uh Nico Collins got to mention him because he had a decent game their seven catches 146 yards in the touchdown Anthony Richardson I have to say he only played the first half but if you had him on your fantasy team my god did he go off because yeah he still got you close to three points on your fast team yeah but the next game you got the Bears and the Bucks went the Bears the Bears still do what the Bears do the other thing about something he points against the 27 against the Bucks the Bears wore their pumpkin spice a latte uniforms spiced latte

they were so bright orange it's not even funny it was a little ridiculous I I totally totally white girl on that I was like oh my God yourselves yeah uh but the Bucks uh books had no answer for uh Baker to Evans like that just my game has been off um they were down 17-20 just feels through uh interception out of the end zone uh easy defensive touchdown over there if you will check Barrett in the house yeah

Justin Fields was 16 of 29 211 yards uh one touchdown two interceptions and you got Victor Mayfield it was 26 for 34 Baker is making a case of the guy who everyone just walked away from like he was 26 for 30 uh the 34 attempts 317 yards one touchdown Mike Evans had uh six um six catches 171 yards one touchdown and he's really making that case for that the Moolah if you will show me the money show me the money money money money

he's already making money yeah well DJ Moore got 100 uh 104 yards of six catches and the Bucks had six sacks in this game the biggest issue with this game really was that for some reason the Bears the first two weeks are trying to turn um Justin Fields into a pocket quarterback he's not a pocket quarterback guys no he's not like he needs to be and it's kind of like when you saw my DJ in the second half like when you flushed him out of the pocket and move him around he's more comfortable he's a mobile quarterback he is what he is except what he is or move on man because that's it's not going to help either party so all right next up we got the the Chiefs and the Jags here which thought it would be the oh yeah the offensive Juggernaut game of the week here he's gonna be like what 70 points we're thinking at that point nope Chiefs win 17-9 and the Ender Vegas made a lot of money on that one there uh so and you won't believe this but there was a guy who fumbled a punt during the game as well that led to a field goal some guy named Richie James perhaps you've heard of him hmm maybe he's done this before for his former team maybe twice against the sea locks I don't know um Chiefs had three turnovers in the first half but when he gave up three points to the the Jaguars in that process I mean that was the real killer of the game the Jacks got to be able to you know make points when they're handed those kind of positions there and these couldn't do it uh Patrick Mahomes overall 29 41 305 yards two touchdowns interception Trevor Lawrence 22 of 41 for 216. goose egg on the TDS in a very big game um Christian Kirk was pretty quiet the first week there ended up with 11 catches for 110 yards Sky Moore and Travis Kelsey each had a touchdown uh for the Chiefs there but here's the interesting part here the Chiefs in the first two weeks are averaging just 18.5 points per game and Chris Kirk was also on my bench in fantasy well that was a poor decision but the point I'm getting at is the commanders are averaging 27 and a half points so far this week this uh this year Eric the enemy just saying you gotta wonder if this continues maybe he was more important than people thought he was I'm not saying he is or wasn't I'm not there in the locker room I'm just saying it's something to kind of keep an eye on it people already started to go hmm things to make you go hmm um all right Next Step oh next up you got the Packers losing 24 to 25 against the Falcons the Packers play 24 to 12 going into the fourth quarter and blew it the Falcons kept fighting through uh um they covered in multiple fourth uh fourth down temps uh and sneaked out of Victory like I have to say like they uh very sneaky P desk yeah they they they look like they play in Seattle a little Sneaky Pete Jordan love was 14 to 25 151 yards and three TDS boo because he was on my fantasy team foreign Robson was 19 of 100 with 124 yards and he was four for 48.

and Drake London um uh London was uh six temps six four yards and one touchdown definitely not London Bridge is falling down this week for him no oh yeah um yeah touchdown switch touchdowns okay next step we got better ready the Raiders going into Buffalo so yeah it pretty much went how you expected Buffalo was a much better team Bills win 38 to 10. Josh Allen completed his first 13 attempts and the Raiders were just simply outclassed uh Josh Allen overall on the game uh 31-37 that's a pretty damn good ratio 274 passing yards three touchdowns the key for him especially after the last week zero goose egg on the ints there uh Jimmy Garoppolo 16 of 24 185 yards one touchdown two interceptions so he had the interception problem this week James Cook for the bill 17 carries 123 yards good game for him Devante Adams six catches 84 yards one touchdown left in the fourth quarter after taking a very big hit a lot of people questioning it it was a hit right down the middle they basically kind of held married it and he got like slammed packed like he was like a piece of turkey going between the pieces of bread aggressively making a sandwich here basically I mean it was it was insane he got hit bad and it's kind of like why would you put this man in this position this leading the game when you have nothing there's no chance of you winning it um another possible issue for the Raiders Josh Jacobs nine carries negative two yards that's not a typo folks Josh Jacobs nine carries negative two yards that's a really really bad start to the season he's got there so far for another guy who wanted a big one I know they got to want a big payday but hmm the biggest payday he's gonna get is in a candy bar wrapper the way things are going right now I'm just saying negative two yards this uh yesterday week before 48 yards he's averaging 1.6 yards per carry folks so far in the season and 46 yards that's not good that is really bad like yeah who played for his contract last year and he just looks heinous if you say anus heinous oh heinous anus oh but yeah it really cements and when people talk about this again this off season because they will after the season's over paying running backs like I think the Raiders right now if this continues to go oh my God thank God we didn't pay this guy yeah like seriously yeah

yeah I'm waiting we're just waiting for Tony power to go down as well

pretty much so alrighty guys we had the Chargers lose Bay time to the Titans 27-24 Titans wins it was a close loss it was a close-offs but they there's no reason for who they lost to yes the charges last year started 11-0 which no not last year this was the game they started 110 in the game not last year

last year but uh the Titans went up on the Chargers um the charge the charges called back to uh 21-17 to lead a team with six minutes left uh Houston occurs more than a touchdown with uh 222 left 20 24 21 to the Titans regulations uh the Chargers are selling for a field in overtime Nick fole hits the game winning field goal what Nick Folk yeah not Nick Foles yeah

alrighty so Connor started out the commenting how long you've been in what did I miss you didn't miss much you were pretty much early on he said saquan take a bunch of shots and tape it up and get your ass in there uh Aces figures we get number one pick we get screwed you get cow pukes running backs played great for years well yeah they had physique the last couple years they overpaid him um Deb says without barclaying yesterday's game we would have lost the game I don't know the way DJ was throwing the ball I don't know that man was a man in a mission I'm not so sure they've lost yeah that second half he was on fire we could have the Ensemble including radtad from The Little Giants and I think he would have still won at that point he was a man on a mission there though Connor agrees he says agreed Deb uh Connor also says if Brayden and Brightwall can play great we have chance put them both in the backfield at the same time go left go right confuse them wide receivers uh wide receiver and the rounds gotta put a table mind to work that's if dabble's calling the plays again or was he not playing the doing the plays at all there's still that argument going on because table said he wasn't calling the place though the videotape says otherwise uh Conor says come on we're talking about uh you know the Eagles there uh obj and saquon obj and saquan gave ankle injury I think he's the city with his ankle injuries are contagious here and that's definitely not the case I may not be a doctor but I play one on TV Connor says realistically how do we see the season going saquan out already oh lineman not great again capitalizing again of course defensive ends not doing anything like our old school guys used to do so frustrating this is a season that I don't think we can tell at this point where we're gonna go this could be a bad season or a good season still either way I mean the Giants are on Pace for what I expected us to do so far I didn't expect us to win so closely against the Cardinals I didn't expect us to get blown out so badly against the Cowboys but this is what I expected I expected this 101. if you go back to the episode we did our predictions for the season there so you know time will tell jury still out of what we are uh Connor says Anthony Richardson can be great but he's already hurt too they gotta make better helmets or neck braces to prevent or help with these concussions what they really got to do is figure out a way to protect people against big bodies that's the problem

how much smaller they were back in the day I mean he'd be like 200 pounds in your offensive tackle I mean now it's like you got to be 350 400. since Insanity yeah yeah like it's it's hard not to get hurt when you're running into brick walls human brick walls that's what these guys are doing on a consistent basis um Connors is sad for Shaq Barrett lost his daughter a few months to go to Drowning yeah that was big news here down in Tampa when that happened his daughter drowned in their house pool like that's yeah that's that never an easy situation uh he also says La Bamba Richie and then he says told you but John was good it's one game I'm still not sold in the kit we'll find out I'm not I I just I don't know something about me tells me he'll be good but not nearly eighth overall pick worthy um Deb says sequence he could do negative two yards on his broken nickel oh well he could he good uh so brother number one said what's up guys questions y'all watch believe it Bob Papa and Carl Banks if so did y'all watch the one from today and hear what Carl Banks said about the defense I did not I didn't get a chance to so uh I know you rob no yeah so feel free to fill us in I'm kind of curious what Carl Banks even though we keep on inviting him on the show and he keeps on not coming on yeah he's gonna quickly turn quick return from an idol to an enemy I'm sorry for listening come on come on Colonel do it Carl

[Laughter] go and do the Carlton uh I'm doing the Carlton Banks there uh Deb says if you take away Barclays today we would have lost that that's assuming that nobody else would have gotten those CDs that's what I'm saying yes if you take out those particular plays and those plays don't happen in any way shape or form yes but who's to say Matt Brady wouldn't have done the same exact thing who's to say that DJ wouldn't have thrown to somebody else I mean that's I was to say uh Isaiah you know if the queen had balls she'd be the king I mean there's so much things you can throw out there like possible scenarios we don't know neither one of us do I'm just saying I'm not so sold that we wouldn't have won without him because DJ was just on a mission that's not a knock on Sequon that's actually me giving props to DJ which is just weird to do it's just that he wasn't a pro bowler last year like you said he would be I did say it this year he'd be one though so we'll see who's right all right back to the games uh San Francisco 49ers went into LA to play the Rams remember the Rams beat the Seahawks last week it was a lot better than people expected they almost won this one too uh Niners win 30 to 23. Rams kept it pretty close but basically turnovers made it very hard to win uh Matt Stafford 34 of 55 with 307 yards one touchdown two interceptions as we talked about those turnovers uh Brock Purdy there uh 17 to 25 206 yards Christian McCaffrey had two 20 rushes for 116 yards and a touchdown the three catches for 19 yards the big news puka nakua 15 catches 147 yards this man is breaking rookie records left and right this is like the most exciting rookie receiver I've seen coming out of the gate since obj pretty much just like that in two games he's got like 25 catches the previous record was 19.

yeah Stafford has nobody else to throw to that's part of it yeah whatever whenever if ever Cooper cup comes back we'll start seeing what really is going on there but yeah that's it's it's it's an interesting thing to watch here as the season progresses there yeah I mean

our next game is our game Giants win 31-28 against Cardinals Gucci man we already talked about this game we're up next we still have to say it's the biggest comeback against in 1950 for the Giants that's still big that's still big it is it is 21 points all right next up we have the Jets and the Cowboys here so yeah it pretty much wins as you expected the Cowboys crushed them go 30 to 10. uh so those keeping score in the last two weeks the Cowboys are up 70 to 10 on the New York teams in eight quarters that's not good um Dallas just the defense was just dominant all over again Dak Prescott was 31 of 38 so very efficient but nothing too crazy flashy only 255 yards two touchdowns Zach Wilson 12 of 27 170 yards one touchdown three interceptions wow wolf yeah um then yet um Garrett Wilson had a big bomb of a TD so he ended up for the game two catches for 83 yards and a touchdown Tony power 25 carries 72 yards um and then CD lamb 11 catches 143 yards now that looks bad on paper because a lot of people are talking about sauce and sauce taking a lot of slack for that sauce did not Shadow him I gotta come to sauces defense here he did not shatter him whatsoever he looked pretty good against him even almost had an interception as well that basically slipped right up his hands that easily could have been a pick six for the game as well so don't blame sauce guys he that he didn't have him shadow I blame Robert Sala and the Jets uh defensive you know coordinator and and you know coaches and offer that's that should have been done you have it like one of the best corners in all football you put them on you put them on um next up next up you got the commanders winning against the Broncos yeah they they commanded this game because no one would have thought any of these guys would have put up 30 points no Solo or probably consecutively together maybe get the Chiefs in the Jaguars game confused with this one

commanders won 35 against the Broncos of 30 because I don't think the Broncos put up 30 points at all last year

no I don't think they put up the whole year yeah

the Broncos were up 21-2 uh to three in the second uh Logan Thomas takes a big hit um on such sound that makes it 21 to 10 and then he was out for the rest of the game uh the Broncos couldn't stop the commanders either uh offensive line just are just their offense in general just they just couldn't stop him um Hail Mary made it 35-3 um made 35-33 the ball was uh batter around and it was like volleyball but like instead of like you can hit the one time before you can hit it back over the net it was like it was like Nukem uh the Mississippi version uh for the side of the game uh somehow was 27 for 39 yards 229 yards and two touchdowns my man Russell it was 18th right let's ride he was 18 for 32 32 attempts and he had um 308 yards three touchdowns one interception Brian Robson Jr was 18 for 87 yards two touchdowns and Marvin men's had two receptions for 113 yards and watch that shot pretty impressive average yeah I was about to say so you come in Mims and you come in your average what 100 and that's what 150 uh sorry you averaging about 58 yards just give or take that's kuderson I gotta Wonder at what point is DeSean Payton regret his decision I mean seriously like if you're Sean Payton like I left the booth to play this crap like they're 0-2 now the offense does not look any better than it did they're stuck with with Russell Wilson I'm gonna say they they look a little better than they did last year on offense not much I mean

it's also not saying a lot but they look better I know they scored some points this but like we said they went up 21-3 and they let us let their foot off the gas a well coached and a well-playing team does not do that no that's that's I mean we talked about the 21 Point deficit the Giants overcame this was an 18-point deficit that's not that far off

no no you're honors are right I mean they couldn't put up points for the life of them last year or even last week the print points now but that defense just gave it up yeah and the Denver defense was a really the strong point last year to give up that it was kind of crazy especially to a team it's not that good of offense all right last up here we got Sunday night football Dolphins head into the New England uh um Gillette Stadium here to play the Patriots and they end up winning 24-17 Miami's D looked really good against the Patriots there um McCabe it's the same Patriots that made some noise we talked about against the Eagles D last week there so that it was a pretty impressive showing for them uh we got to talk about the field goal block that's what everybody is talking about from this game so basically if for those who are picturing this in their head since we're in video land but audio land but we can't actually show you the footage from the NFL game where we get sued by copyright infringement basically if those are remember there's always pretty much one or two guys on the on the outside there kind of set up as receivers in case of a fake pun fake feel good whatever the case may be so what they did was the guy who was their fake corner so to speak for the Patriots ran along the actual uh line of scrimmage just on the outskirts pretty you can get obviously offsides and then as soon as they went ahead snapped the ball he went like instead of running in like that he would all of a sudden and just ran right for the ball and got a perfect block and this is the technique that I've never seen in the game before it makes a whole schnikey load of sense I'll put it that way um but all of a sudden like everybody their mother is talking about this watch next week or to see like five players do this now because everybody was so impressed by this idea what you'd be thinking about is a very simple idea you're just gonna run and cut in the second they snap I mean it makes a whole lot of sense um the game had a kind of fun ending too as well so the Dolphins have caught back their I'm sorry the Patriots have caught back there within a touchdown um they went ahead threw the ball to Mike iseki on fourth down on the final drive and he was getting tackled where he's about four yards shy of the first down he went ahead and laterals it over to guard Cole strange who would have thought coal strange would get the ball at any point in the game and I even call Strangers off that yeah so not even Doctor Strange thought that and he went ahead and rushed the ball and at first they called it a first down they had to go back rewatch the tape he was short about a yard but he got the ball like five yards before the first down and he like four people on him just Struck it along trying to get that maybe you need to start trying this guy out of fullback he was he was he was kind of impressive I'd use him in a short yardage situation uh you know it's it's yeah it was it was definitely kind of a shocker for I think for a lot of people the way that ended there uh we got Raheem Mozart also kind of found the Fountain of Youth there obviously he's got a little up there and hold along the tooth there for running back at 31 years old 31. that's like the new 70 winner running back here uh 18 carries 121 yards and two touchdowns two it was 21 of 30 for 249 yards interception Tyree kill five catches 40 yards and the touchdown uh Jalen waddle four catches 86 yards Mac Jones on the night was 31 of 42 231 yards one touchdown one interception I keep in mind I spent 100 yards less than the Eagles let him have I'm just saying anyway touche yeah we're gonna keep an eye on this because that's like what's that situation it's a that's a big big take way like listen you can never count out Sneaky Pete or below check when it comes to playing football but the Eagles defense doesn't look that good granted we're not talking about the Eagles defense in this game Craig Mack Jones also through better last uh last week than this week oh again he's playing different teams so we'll see I said the dolphins dolphins defense was on point today it's kind of weird to see them go from a game where they're a little shoot at with the Chargers and then all of a sudden go to a that kind of you know fight there with the with the Patriots so interesting to see overall because they spent a lot of time trying to shore up that defense and get it in the same ballpark where the offense has been last year there so alrighty guys there's all your games here so far at least for week two obviously we still have some games going on live right now um as we're filming this the Saints are up three to six to three at halftime on the Panthers and the Browns are down um seven to three at the end of the first quarter to the Steelers there so both those games kind of still to be decided but the nice thing is if you're that curious you can go to nfl.com and see the scores there because by the time you're watching this after the fact uh you know or when you're done watching this just go back watch the game itself live uh alrighty guys so we'll see you guys again tomorrow
