he'll be back in a minute here folks oh there he is there he is there's the Rob I was like where'd it go where'd he go I already did the intro and everything you missed it Rob I'm right here with my lights on there you go go alrighty so today we're going to go over for you week two for the NFL the Giants season opener part two 2.0 exactly so yeah we're gonna go over the Cardinals this week here we play and you know this is for once we have like a lot more optimism than last week I think because last week I went to at least I don't think we're gonna win uh you know Rob thought we'd win but we really got destroyed absolutely destroyed there in this so I don't think that's going to be the case this week I think that's pretty safe to say we're facing a team that we should be able to beat but it's still legitimate NFL team it's not like we're playing a pop warner team so we still need to go over what do we have to do to go in a win because it's not a foregone conclusion we can still lose this game folks we can still go and do it's not like this the Arizona Cardinals aren't like oh you had a rough week last week sorry even though the ownership probably does because they want to win the first overall pick yeah listen when when you make it to the NFL you have a certain amount of confidence in ego that you're still going to play for your stats so those guys out there are going to go out there they may not be at a cardinal forever but they still want to get paid somewhere else exactly the ownership it may be tanking potentially for the first overall pick but the player sure as hell aren't and they still have some good players it's not like this team is devoid of any Talent whatsoever so yeah I think I think we need like let's go over here what though the keys to the game what to do on offense what to do on defense but before we do that let's go over the injury report

how many oh don't even joke around about that there might be a Jet fan listening

so mean all right so first off the Cardinals are much healthier than we are right now let's be very frankly our intrial list is like five players ours is like 15 it feels like um so first up they have the last two practices the last two reports this obviously we're recording this Thursday night so we have Wednesday and Thursday nights um uh injury reports here LJ Collier who's been a starting defensive lineman for them at least for the first week here uh did not practice the last two days with a biceps injury uh Josh Woods starting linebacker for them has not practiced the last two days with an ankle injury as well so those those two will see what happens there overall uh Limited in practice has been Kelvin Beacham they're starting offensive lineman uh with the hand injury James Connor their running back with a calf injury and leaky futu uh another defensive lineman shoulder injury so those guys should be playing barring any setbacks during this week here but suddenly keep a calf injury for a starting running back you know he's he's no wrong he's not saquon's caliber but James Connor is a legitimate running back in this league so yeah yeah I mean if he's not playing that's even worse for a team that's already kind of devoidable out of town yeah I mean he he ran pretty well last week against the commander so yeah decent he played decent would say great decent I said well I didn't say great good not great yeah well in the middle [Laughter] um so Giants report here so Sterling Shepard did not practice today that was labeled as a rest so he's still labeled on the injury report because he didn't practice but it's nothing to be concerned it's not an actual injury it's just a rest day for him uh Andrew Thomas that's the one we gotta really got to watch out for hamstring injury he may not play in the game did not practice on Wednesday limited on the practice field here today um yeah that's the one that if we're gonna lose him for a week this is probably the best week to lose him obviously that we do this week uh again not to overlook the Cardinals it's like it's easy to overlook this team because they're really not a good team guys but again it's still an NFL team um Darren Waller also with hamstring also uh so he had a uh rest day yesterday was limited practice today because the hamstring I think that's gonna be pretty much his Mo the entire year yeah I'm not worried about it too much I think he'll play Deontay Banks limited with his calf injury from the game on Sunday night uh cam Brown also limited with an ankle injury uh Cordell flock uh hamstring injury also limited there's a lot of hamstring and Ankle injuries by the way guys it seems to make a streak of that uh Graham canoe limited the last two days but the right ankle I have not seen anybody bringing in any other kickers though so that tells you right there he should be playing yeah

hamstring injury a little bit of the last two days javarius Owens hamstring injury limited the last two days Matt pert elbow injury limited the last two days and of course Juan Dale Robinson injure uh injured to the knee there overcoming last year's injury still limited the last two days uh there's a good chance that we might see our you know a first peak of Juan Dale Robinson in this year's offense here so that'd be kind of fun to watch here so before we get even into the what we do when we're on offense here I gotta ask the question what should we call this game should we call this game the Revenge game for Isaiah Simmons or should we call it the battle of the ogilaris since BJ ojolari Aziz ojelari's brother is also on the Arizona Cardinals that's two very interesting kind of you know subplots in this battle here because you know Isaiah Simmons wants to stick it to the Cardinals you know it could have ended on very good terms which by all accounts there's no nobody said anything nasty publicly about either side he still wants to show them you messed up you you misused me you made a mistake you gave up too early but at the same point what brothers don't want to compete against each other on the field you know granted you don't have both defenses on the field at the same time it's not as fun as if like if one of them was an offensive lineman one of them was rushing the past they're like that'd be much more fun to watch the original Jewelery like that but it's still it's still kind of interesting to see how that's going to play out there all right so before we get into the what to do we're on offense here let's go through some comments here John says Roberto has learned invisibility I just moved that slow where you couldn't see me and then he says Toby Keith shirt that'd be my shirt there yes I said so much is the white shirt it's me I don't know

so do me a favor rob you go over the next one here to fix it real quick gotcha that's why I say drew you're ignoring my text and my messages I saw your text I saw your text all right so it was kind of hard so we left off with DJ all right so the Cardinals D last week had six sacks 51.4 qbp Sam Howe was 13 I'm sorry was 19 of 31 with 102 yards one touchdown one interception one fumble loss for six he also almost lost his head on one of those sacks it was a fantastic not for him obviously oh juice back there he is back tell a friend you sound a lot better it'll be a second but I love yes I forgot to turn my AC off that might be part of the problem so I just turned it off that must be all the problems that's probably that's all it is yeah

I just talked about how to Sam how uh through for uh 102 yards and when he got sacked you almost lost his head we talked about that already well I couldn't hear you with your microphone okay okay [Laughter]

so I don't know who else heard me out there where to leave off true I I was talking about the sex and the QB pressure raid yeah all right well that's where we're looking at right now that's where we go here we go two sacks one tackle three QB hits already his second most sacks in the season had seven in 2020 10 total and is six C uh season in the NFL was he the one that almost decapitated at Howell no so how it was almost decapitated by uh kazir White who's the linebacker who went to hit him when he was going out of bounds so it was actually a 15-yard penalty on the play even yep that's when the right was that when the ref got knocked down and he looked like the Undertaker you know it's like crazy an X eagle with a dirty play who would have thought yeah go through there exactly right but yeah I mean that's the thing is you got we had a bad showing on offense obviously protecting the quarterback the Cardinals had a good showing on defense as far as getting the quarterback so the question is going to be now was one of them a fluke was one of them what to expect I mean let me put it this way I don't think it's safe to expect the team to have six sacks per game that's a little ridiculous I think it's also safe to say that it's not reasonable to expect an offense to give up seven sacks per week no matter how bad the offensive line is yeah I mean Washington's not the best in offense no don't know that no so but our offensive line as bad as they are shouldn't be that bad I mean watch me that bad goddamn that was horrible but you know I think the big key is we talked about this even before the game with Dallas even they need help on the right side of the line you can't keep going in with you know weaving Evan Neal and Mark Lewinski by themselves they're not able to cut it and I don't care if you got to sit Bellinger on there listen I don't even care if you got to put a sixth offensive lineman and have an extra guy on that side if that's what you have to do to protect the quarterback squeeze a chance yes I understand it sucks to do but I'd rather sit there and have you know a better line of a better pocket maybe an empty an empty backfield instead of having you know a running back back there in a pass block bringing a six offensive lineman and see if that helps setting along those lines because this ain't cutting it guys the other thing I don't like about that with an empty back feels it's an obviously pass play so then are they gonna put that much pressure or they're gonna go back in zone so I would like to see is have some tied in play how about obviously Waller's not going to do that so belly sorry you get literally gonna have to help hold him on his back yeah I mean that's what a bull's down to her to need um you know but you know the reason I'm suggesting that is because let's be honest saquan's not the best pass Blocker in the world never has been no he's not the guy that you want back there protecting the quarterback he's just not his Forte so I'd rather sit there and have a guy like maybe bring uh a math pervert or a Josh azudu um in there and bring them as a sixth lineman to go along that side there I mean if that's what you have to do that's what you have to do desperate times call for desperate measures yeah I mean for a few plays I I wouldn't mind seeing something like that but for I mean majority of the play it's an obvious passing down you're not hurting anything you're not giving anything away like obviously third and nine we're not running the ball I said I said it's true you see that a lot yeah more because Daniel Jones is scrambling yeah that's not a plan run that's him running for his life

yeah so like I said I'm just I'm just I think we got to figure out something and I think leaving these two guys by themselves is not the answer you know I look at what happened with JMS last week not not great but not horrible Ben bredesen not great not horrible Andrew Thomas injured but still obviously not horrible um glowinsky and Neil that's the weak point so we got to do something to help them they can't do it it's can't but it's not that good yeah it's quite obvious you know or you know we got to give them help because of the fact that what's really hurting them is the fact they haven't played together because they kept on delaying what we all knew was gonna happen we all knew what this offensive line was going to be let's be very Frank this wasn't a oh I'm shocked Lewinsky made it on right side and Ben Burton went on the left side like come on guys we figured this now weeks ago they should have just put them in there like that and kept them that way but for whatever reason they wanted to get cute and they wanted to prove that Joshua was worth the start he's not you can't beat up Mark Lewinski at this point no offense to golinsky but he just hasn't been playing against he's only been a giant you can't beat him out then you're just not that good he is in the end going to be probably a backup offensive lineman in this league not great for a third round pick but at least he's an actual offensive lineman in this league at least a lot worse three to five years yeah there's been a lot worse um let's go over the running game here because that's one thing I feel like we really abandoned after the first drive for whatever reason like I get it we had it we had we blocked had a field goal block for a touchdown you know we had you know a quick bad offensive possession and you know with it ended up with a you know another seven points off an interception as well right after that it was 14-0 and the Giants just abandoned the run you can abandon the run with this team now when you got saquon Barkley I'm sorry you can't yeah it's too talented a player to just take him out of the game entirely I mean yeah you're about to go into the stats we'll be talking about that too yeah so overall Sequon 12 carries 51 yards so and you know that's crazy it said in first half they ran it 11 times planned 11 times Barclay had 10 Brenda had one that shows you how much you banned the game in the second half

yeah and you know obviously Daniel Jones had a lot of runs um but I don't think a lot of those were planned a lot of those were more again running screen yeah scrabbled so I think that in the end you gotta you gotta have Barclay just run the ball I'm not saying run them 30 times for anything crazy I think the big thing is run him like 20 25 times a game and that's realistic that's what he should be doing so to give and I think obviously part of it is they didn't want us to run it once they were down 30 nothing 30 you know 40 nothing I get that part of it but they abandoned that run way too early man way too early uh the Cardinals last week for their efforts gave up only 3.3 yards per carry against the Commanders so they had a decent outing but keep in mind we talked about this a lot last year the commanders run the ball to control the clock that's the way their offense was run last year at least we'll see what it turns out this year with Eric B enemy obviously running the offense now it's a little different of an offense but they didn't care necessarily about getting huge amount of yards they just wanted to inch closer and closer to that they didn't they weren't going for having the back to be five yards to carry their guys are three and a half 3.8 yards of carrying they're perfectly fine with that they just want a short third down so this is exactly what they did last year as well so I think that we're gonna see what happens overall as time progresses with that but that might be part of why the Arizona Cardinals only gave up 3.3 yards per carry because the commanders don't have that Dynamic back we do obviously in saquon Barkley so I think saquon's going to have a better week this is this this week I think than it had against the Cowboys because I don't think we're in a band in the running last week but I also think because in the end the Cardinals are a very young defense with a lot of young people that Nestle aren't as good as the Cowboys are you know if you had to rank defenses obviously I hate to say it Cowboys are very much towards the top well after last week they have the number one defense what the Cardinals no the Dallas yeah well again look what they did against us like I said it's like it's a really good defense but to go back to this game the Cardinals their defense is good because the pastors uh the past rush look good everything else was no I said the rush defense was good as well if you're getting a 3.3 yards of carry for a game that's good it it is but once again it's James Connor like it's that's kind of I don't know I'm sorry sorry that's Ryan Robinson Jr here yeah I mean but he didn't really have that many breakout runs last year he had a few don't get me wrong but he's he was a Workhorse who's that's what they did so like did they really look that good a stop and run I should have I actually should have messaged him he and I are actually friends on Facebook oh he should have okay Brian what's up here should I do it now here we are how's it hanging buddy I was kind of shocked you except my friendship I'm like okay whatever I'll take it maybe we'll try to get him on the week we'll go play the commanders that'd be fun

I just came back from running guys

We're not gonna have in the post game obviously yeah but like I said I think I'm not worried about sequan against this defense I'm more worried about the offensive line of what they're gonna do the big thing is though we have to get these weapons involved guys we gotta get these weapons involved no and I I always say this like weapons because the Giants have such a unique offense it's not just the receivers it's the tight ends it's the running backs it really isn't all around pass attack so no Giants weapons had more than three catches that's bad only Waller and Hodgins had over 20 yards that's bad it's terrible that's really bad guys 20 yards we're not talking 50 yards 60 yards only two players and more than 20 yards only one had more than 30. that's bad

I mean what was DJ silly Arts 107 we said yeah 104. oh so yeah bad um now Arizona against the commanders again we got to compare everything against last week winning the one week of action to watch against so the commanders do have a good wide receiver core you know obviously we play them twice a week we're pretty familiar there with their roster there Scary Terry Terry McClure in there uh had only two catches for 31 yards last week that's pretty good to hold him to that but they also gave up over 500 yards oh go ahead but also keep in mind that he was battling uh an injury yeah he wasn't 100 healthy going into that game so was it was it then stopping it so when I was listening to a podcast for Arizona they flat I said they don't have a number one uh CV they have two number two so yeah but then again we don't have another one wide receiver we don't have a number one wide receiver we have a whole bunch of number twos yes so that's something that will also play out yeah and but so they did give up over 40 yards to Jahan Dotson Logan Thomas and Curtis Samuel so they did allow some yards going at that point there keep in mind Sam Howell had 200 yards against them Sam Hamill is not a great quarterback so when I say 200 yards I say it more along the lines of hey here's a bad quarterback that had an okay game against them we'll find out what their passing defense is overall as time goes on but I think that shows you that that's this is a team you can pass the ball on as long as you can get time because that's the one I think they get some sex off yeah we talked about so um so on defense a couple old Philly faces really made their marks known there week one we talked about because you're white already the linebacker uh he was all over the field against the commanders had nine tackles including one tackle for loss um safety uh Kavon Wallace had six tackles and two passes defended so you're talking about two guys he brought over the new head coach Jonathan Gannon brought over from Philly they know the defense already they're comfortable in it and they're doing some stuff there um keep in mind all Arizona also still has Buddha Baker who obviously asked for a trade this off season didn't get what he wanted but he's a five-time pro bowler two-time first-team All-Pro one time second Team all pro so guys got some Talent had just five tackles last week uh but you know safety is sometimes one of those positions that if you don't hear from them that's a good thing which means they had their guy covered so uh you know still some weapons there defense again this is their strong suit defense is their strong suit if we had a gauge at least based on watching the game I would say Arizona has probably an average defense to slightly above average but they're offensive [ __ ] it's absolutely horrible we'll get to that in a second we talk about yeah but you know but I don't know if I don't know if it's fair to say above average I think it is sex and you're holding a team to 20 to you know 20 points like that but it's also the play like can can would they look like that playing Kansas City would they look like they have played Green Bay last week did they well they've looked like that if they played you know the Ravens like I don't think so time will tell I I think their defense actually is I don't think they look that good if they went over and played the Seahawks and the Seahawks offense did not look good last week I'm telling you I really think watching this game because I watched it twice today alone just trying to go through this the Cardinals and the commanders that defense looked good it looks very good it looks aggressive too which I like I just I like watching those as a football fan myself like there was times you can tell they were bringing the fire they're going Wink Martindale style like you can see like seven guys just lined up ready to go and they're gonna leave everybody else and man you can tell like yeah I like the ballsiness there's something I like about this defense I think this defense is going to end up being the only thing that keeps them potentially winning some games this year if they win any games to yourself it's really bad really really bad um but yeah I mean I this is this is the kind of defense that has a lot of like the island and Misfit Toys kind of mentality a lot of these guys were from other teams are for young rookies and stuff like that you know there's no really stars on the team besides Buddha Baker um and sometimes it's just you get the right the right fit and it just clicks you get the right coach and it just clicks and I think this is going to be one of those defenses that because it's got good coaching on defense being that it's a you know defensive minded head coaching and everything came in I think I think some of these players are going to be a little better than people expected uh on on their defense so we'll see time will tell but that's clearly their oh yes now it's time for a win on defense

so when on the D so tell us what you do when you're on the D ude oh let me tell you what I do when I'm on the D oh yeah so before we get into the defense here too much one thing I have to I have to kind of stand up and you know Point some things out from last week's game here still because as much as it was a crap game we talked about the post game coverage we weren't too pissed off at the defense so let's let's honestly look at this game here so the Giants gave up 40 points on paper the defense got absolutely destroyed absolutely exactly on paper so seven points came off a block field goal seven points came off an interception return for a touchdown seven points came off of them getting the ball on the 38-yard line from an interception as well if you take those out you're looking at 19. that's it that they gave up 19. that's not bad I mean this wasn't as bad as people you know looked at from the 40 or nothing I mean 143 yards guys I was about to say my biggest thing is if your quarterback is getting you 43 yards no interceptions and no touchdowns did you win the 1043 sorry did you win the game

Dobbins were the the Young quarterback that got tossed around in the Cardinals had a way better jobs not Dobbins sorry Dublin stores ACL Steel

um but yeah I I so I said I I just I just think we got to kind of stand up to the defense a little bit and say listen they didn't do that bad a job because I I know we want to just lambast the offense non-stop which we should that was a horrendous outing it was the defense wasn't that bad they didn't get any quarterback which have been nice but well even last year what did Dallas do against us really well they ran the ball yeah Paula had what 72 yards well in all fairness they weren't really trying on offense I didn't have to you're insane I'm just saying like he didn't you would want to burn out the clock and run the ball no yeah that's your number one guy like living him he that's literally less than half of what he had against us last year I I just don't think they were trying too hard to be honest I think that's where they were at I'm just I'm just saying I don't want the people to look at the 40 points ago the Giants defense was horrible the Giants defense did horrible the Giants defense didn't really have a chance to do much in the game because the game was already over pretty much by the time they got out yeah exactly um so last week Joshua Dobbs Josh Dobbs there uh had was 21 of 30 for 132 yards so for those keeping track at score at home there 132 yards on 21 completions it's a 4.4 yard per carry average a yard per catch average that's it hit a 78.8 passer rating now watching the game with that commander game there I can tell you basically a lot of what they did with screens Crossing routes to the tight ends shorty hitch and go routes kind of stuff I mean it was there was really no deep passes no keep in mind he's only been to Cardinal for like three and a half weeks like he hasn't been a full month on the team the guy's still learning the offense I'm kind of shocked they even put him out there they were better off keeping Colt McCoy and having him go out there he's had a chance to learn the offense um so yeah yeah that's what I'm saying this is if you want to talk about why we should be able to beat them this is why this is why we should crush them is because the offense is just horrendous for the Cardinals absolutely horrendous um you know I I think it's a good game also for our rookie Corners get a little more confidence uh but they didn't do bad last week either I mean CD lamb had it was only only receiver or over 30 yards or 77 and keep in mind adoree Jackson was the one covering him too not even the rookies uh Brandon Cooks had just 22 yards in the game uh obviously learned this week he's uh spraying his MCL I think in the game as well so you know Bruno could be part of why but uh you know again you got a really good receiver that really didn't do much against us not that he had to either because the offense was so bad but that's we're kind of a recurring theme there uh for the Cardinals last week the Oni player that had over 30 yards receiving was Rondell Moore now Rondell is one of those guys that they kind of throw out there kind of like a trick receiver like a uh dare I say continuous Tony type where you kind of put them in kind of like short yardages catches out of the backfield that kind of receiver you kind of move them around kind of a chess piece kind of player um so you got to kind of keep an eye on where you sat on the field there uh but of a 30 at past attempts overall that Josh Dobbs had 10 of them went to Earth's 10. it's a third of his past attempts went to one guy five of them went to the Hollywood Marquis Brown I haven't been to James Connor that's 20 of his 30 throws guys I mean it's pretty sad to say a lot of these rookie quarterbacks by these young quarterbacks they they heavily rely on those tight ends yeah but he's not that young anymore dude he's been at least seven years Dobbs it's just that was his third start he's a little young and he's a young experience wise no not age-wise if that makes sense um but I mean Earth's even he had the one where I was kind of shocked they almost had a touchdown and it went like her Earth was like this and it hit him in the hands and I know we always talk about this if it hits you in the hands you're supposed to catch it but it just like sailed right on his fingertips basically and they almost missed seven there which would have been the game they would have won the game yeah um it's kind of it's kind of interesting that to watch how the offense played though because like I said they just don't throw the ball down field they do they do runs they do short passes that's all they do it's a very very simplified offense again probably because of the fact that dopps has to move with the team very long so I think this is one area the Giants really really need to go ahead and just take it out take out the passing offense altogether because it's very easy to do you're looking for short short passes you can almost let them have over the top he's not going to throw it there

pretty much so wink will be definitely definitely fraud heavy this week coming up yeah I mean I think this is going to be a put pin your ears back and go back for the quarterback and don't worry too much about you know how many people you have covering back there because he's not going to throw the ball down field he can't a he's not that good of a quarterback overall but B doesn't know the defense no it is into the offense so Go For It Go for the go for the jugular there yeah running game wise we talked about James Connor having the calf injury there Assuming he's all healthy this is a guy who has a history of being again a good not great running back in this league uh 62 yards last last week on 14 carries uh the big running play actually was Hollywood Brown had an end around that went for 29 yards that was his only run obviously it was a receiver doesn't really run the ball very often but you know watch out for those kind of trick plays then because they proved they'll do that they got to do something to obviously manufacture some some yards obviously they can't do it to the air too much so you'll see some trick play you'll see that kind of stuff occasionally there um Connor's one of those players though that I think is going to play very well into what the Giants do on defense because he doesn't really go outside very much he doesn't have that kind of speed he's much more of a north-south router so what happens again north south you're gonna go against okay Florence you're gonna go against Leonard Williams here they go Bobby O'Hara Kay exactly you're going right in the middle you're going right to our strength go for it this is why I'm very confident in this game it's very rare for me to be confident but I am confident can we get that recorded again say that again I'm confident damn it um now last week we talked about it before as far as what the Giants gave up to Tony power the game of 70 yards to Tony power keep in mind over a third of that 25 of that was on a one run alone uh 14 carries gave up two touchdowns that was the big thing um but that's what Tony Pollard did all last year was five yards so you know you could sit there and say the five yards per carry but the Giants gave up okay they had an average day on running defense and you see what it was you know James Connor is not as good a back as Tony Pollard is persistent so again I think this is going to be a fun week for us I really do I wish this was the first week let us build up some confidence as opposed to getting beat up here for be like when Alabama plays like West Texas Christian College University a Polytechnic Institute um that's basically what it is uh last week we talked about how bad the uh the offensive line was for the Giants the Cardinals also as much as they were good at getting to the quarterback they weren't very good at protecting their quarterback either I think you have six sacks themselves had a 51.4 QB uh pressure right there overall again 30 is considered high and they were 51.4 um the Giants though had zero sex on 24 uh dropbacks last week against the Cowboys so these pass rushers we got got to figure out a way to get it going we've invested some big picks in here we've invested obviously in first round pick and Dexter Lawrence a first round pick and uh in uh you know cave on Thibodeau a second round pick in azizo jalari guys do a good thing do a good thing gave a ton of money to Leonard Williams like these are guys did you expect to get to the quarterback so this is the week we got to get to the quarterback and you know there's one man specifically that I'm kind of curious if we go race for him remember our old buddy will Hernandez is on the he's on the Arizona Cardinals he's a starting guard for Arizona Cardinals yeah we saw how many stacks he gave up for the Giants yeah go right for that Hernandez [Laughter] you know but that's terrible yeah it is what it is this is true I think because you know if you want if you want to talk about exactly how bad that um you know the uh the offense is for the Cardinals overall so they score 20 points you know last week but seven points the only touchdown they had was off of a fumble the rest of what they had was all field goals okay so Carlos only scored 16 last week 16 points I'm sorry that's what the commanders did 16. I was like wait a minute they weren't that good so 16 points at the Cardinals the rest of it was off field goals they kick three field goals so they still haven't scored a single touchdown yes same as the Giants for the record I know someone's gonna sit there and say oh the joints haven't scored an offense either shut up

I know we didn't score either I'm just trying to point out because that's an anomaly game whereas I think the Cardinals offense is legitimately that bad I really do that's this is this is potentially the worst offense in the entire league that's how bad it is so if it's if it's not it's definitely up there but it's probably the worst office it's a it's the least it's at least the 30th or lower yes uh so again this is this this is this is going to be a game I think for the Giants to get some get some respect back and make a statement like if the Giants really want to be taken serious this year which you know let's be honest they should want to be taken serious this is the week to show it this is three so you know what screw last week that was an anomaly that's not normal or moving past it we're going to get better but this is where we get the fans into a little bipolar action here because you know that we're we crushed by the Cowboys everybody's talking about you know fire this person fire that person and change this person change this and then it became a get rid of this person get rid of that person thing all week long now we're gonna play the Cardinals we're going to win very well and people are like oh great everything is all fixed and then next week will play the 49ers it'll be all over again four days later five days later I know so again don't know what this is or under react to one game it's one game you know what our first three games is going to be like is we just had a breakup last week we're gonna go out we're gonna get that breakup body together we're gonna look great for the next person we're just gonna shut everyone down this is our breakout body game right here and then we're gonna meet some shitty person in in San Francisco and that yeah get us down again yeah so let's go into the keys to the game here overall kind of our final thoughts on what we think is going to be the keys to winning besides you know scoring points and more points in the Cardinals because that's an obvious one yeah

[Laughter] um but yeah one of the first keys of Victories I think is that offensive line it's got a gel that's awesome

yeah and it stems and that was one of the things I said in our preview for Dallas is that offense has offensive line has got to step up to make everything else work and even though we're playing a worse team a way worse team they still got to step up they got to put a Band-Aid on that right side they gotta figure out something they got to give them some help that's all it is give them some help because a lot of what they had trouble with in that right side was stunts and stuff like that which again is because they haven't played together much this year yet you know it's only their second year together it's not 70 year veterans playing alongside each other here so hopefully they get that part going we can get the offense going the other thing is the Giants need to win the turnover battle obviously that was an issue for us last week we had two interceptions we have five fumbles in that game against the Cowboys luckily we recovered four of them but five freaking fumbles the hell of the young Tiki I recommend a retirement like what the hell oh it's crazy um so for their part the Cardinals last week had lost two inner lost two fumbles so but they also got two fumbles and an interception against the commanders so you know it's it's one of those things that they didn't have a horrible week turnovers they technically won the turnover battle on their game by one um but they showed that they are going to give up some potentials I mean that's what happened with the young team you give up some stuff and they had a young team um so we have a chance to potentially get a couple turnovers in this game the Giants just got to keep holding on to the ball you know and again I think a lot of that comes back from the offensive line giving some time because Daniel Jones mistakes he made in that first game are not the normal ones he made last year at all you know you kind of worked his way out of those issues last year and he regressed a lot in that first game so hopefully that's just a one game issue we can go okay bad game we're good we're back to we're back to Daniel Jones of last year at least yeah because I mean even last year when he played the Cowboys like he still was under pressure this was the worst of the three outings

like a vandal I'm out of it now okay okay stop dude it's funny how like we're saying that Under Pressure we go into Vanilla Ice I know it's the same exact beep still it's obviously a different song we're just all over the place anyway next key is penalties the Cardinals had some pretty big penalties called against them against the commanders there we already talked about that 15-yard penalty because kazir white hit um Sam Howell when he was clearly going out the you know out of bounds there it's a young team on defense we talked about the minion team overall but defense especially their very young team this is a chance for us to get you know some help on a struggling offense by getting somebody's massive penalties here so you know throw the ball down the field Jones get some past interference penalties because they have a young secondary minus their their their safeties obviously but a corner specifically they're pretty young so you know they have a a rookie even Clark um at the uh the slop Corner position he really wasn't tested against the Commanders test him just posted against rookie Corners test away see what he's got see if he's legit or if just he's in there because they have nobody better yeah it's very possible that's the scenario he was a six-round pick obviously we're starting our six round Corner as well but six round picks are not typically guys that can step in and do their thing in the NFL so you know go for it test them let's see what he's got Let's test High it against him boom God that'd be nice all right one last key to Victory here special teams needs to be on point special teams need to stop being special in the bad way because I'm just getting sick of it here obviously the block field goal for a touchdown they also had two missed field goals as well besides that so that's that's you got two unheard of freaking out yeah so obviously one of those two missed one was the blocked one so I'm kind of double dipping by saying it that way um but think about it that's a 13 Point swing right there just off field goals that's a big swing I mean 33 and 33 to 6 is still a bad game don't get me wrong but it's a hell of a lot better than 40 nothing yeah so and momentum really shifts in this place I mean that first blocked uh field goal we had momentum going we were moving down the field we're getting things going we had a couple penalties mess it up and a bad snap and all but then all of a sudden you get Google just crush the momentum entirely from the Giants there you know the big question is going to be if this keeps on happening and the issues in General on special teams is Thomas McGehee T-Mac as he's commonly called gonna have issues with this job you know him and Bobby Johnson the offensive line coach those two guys the fans are calling for their heads so yeah you know obviously those who've been with us for a while we had no remember we had Britain golden on uh you know last year know that the players have a lot of fondness for tmac overall they he couldn't help but this guy keep on only paid for him for a little bit there you know he only was with us for one you know training camp there and you know he they he talked very highly of him could not say enough good things about him overall so you gotta hope that we get all that stuff kind of fixed out and things kind of fix itself but this could be the last year for for Thomas McGahey or a guy who was you know was here for the his assistant special teams coach in the Coughlin years uh you know was he uh that's a special team coach here on her table but on the last two head coaches as well he's been he's been with the Giants for quite a while but if he don't shape up he's going to be shaping Adam telling me that right now it's not going to last much longer that's for sure yeah hopefully we get it all fixed up hopefully this is like I said this is a Fix-It game this is a game that gets the confidence back up and going guys uh you know you said it's weird for me to come in confident but I'm confident I think we got this pretty pretty pretty handily I think this is going to be a pretty easy win for us and if it's not I'd be so pissed you can be cursed a lot in the last episode we had a post game oh my God there'll be a lot of cussing with this one that's for dance one big beep getting kicked off of YouTube oh yeah we'll get we'll
